Insta-love, maybe not so unrealistic?

Insta-love, maybe not so unrealistic?

Good morning,

There’s a lot of hate going around for the insta-love trope.. probably the most said about it being “it’s just not realistic”, However, there is such a thing as the «Eureka Womens»

You see, I follow this dude on tiktok, that mansplains to women the hard truths of dating. Being a man, he tells us how they are naturally born hunters, so if he were to be that interrested to you, you’ll know.

Things like that that we, as woman, ofcourse don’t really wanna hear as it shatters how we feel. Aka, the man you want maybe just isn’t that much into you.

From this particular video, he tells us that if you were to trick him into liking you, maybe even go as far as marrying you, all would shatter the instant he see that «Eureka woman».

While you pulled ropes to get there, there is some individuals with which it would just click- that girl won’t even have to do anything, and yet he’ll feel more things than he ever had for you who had to pull the ropes. He also confidently says that they’ll probably chase them; yes, sad to break your heart, but when that happens.. it just happens, man. The hearts wants what it wants.

Now it DOES make things relatable thinking of romance novels .. how many love stories can you think of where the man is already sorta with someone and things just happens with our MC? Hopefully calling it quits before engaging with her

Ones that comes to mind is “Talk bookish to me”, or even “the library of lost things” & “this time next year”.

While being things that we don’t wanna hear most of the time, I really like having that imput from a man explaining to us how their brain works. It even add a further deapth into the romance genres and the different stories.. as you soon realise they’ll closely following what he’s saying.

What do you think? Do you like insta-love?

  1. I don’t think anything happens instantly, it’s more of a gradual feeling. There’s insta-lust or attraction, but love is a process.

    1. You’re right, although the attraction will help to develop the love; they mainly explained it as a magnetic feeling pulling both toward eachother, nobody else existing.

    1. Yes, i’m in that crowd too!
Maybe not love per say, but a magnetic feels that pull both parties into more, absolutely!
