Good morning!

As we might know, i’ve tried a few things such as beachbody before, but exercicing is really something that i’m struggling with.. As soon as I stop- for whatever reason like sickness or just too much work, it’s guaranteed i’m not starting back 😅

I’ve been lucky to never been too conscious about my weight; my body do what it’s supposed to and I generally don’t really care how it looks.. which, doesn’t help me at all in my quest to stay active. In the past months, I had seen adds for this dancing app around the internet- Dancebit; and I figured hey why not. It’s a paid subscription app, but if it helps making me move more, I thought it would’ve been a good investment.


 

I had originally paid for 3 months, and will certainly get the higher subscription once it’ll be over in late July!

The way it present itself first thing is your own personalised challenge; as seen in the two last pictures, you pick what type of dance you wanna do, what amount of time you’d wanna dance for and the region of your body you wanna work. I’m on my second 29days challenge, which i’ve picked Latin/fitness/bollywood, 15-20, aswell as chest/belly/whole body.

 

You can also consent to the app to send you a reminder at whatever time you want to help you keep up with doing it- I picked after work at 9pm, but when I can and am working my usual 1-8, I kinda like doing it before i’m leaving for work so i’m all good for the day.

After i’m done with my daily dance, I go to the second tab “entraînement” in my case, and pick other dances- again I usually go for Latin or Bollywood, to complete my 20mins everyday.

exemple; today’s dance is only 6mins, so i’d go and choose something close to 14mins to finish my daily time allowance of dancing.

 

I love the part where you can see your stats!! You can go back to see previous weeks; i’m at 137mins this past week as i’m writing this, my lowest in the last 4weeks had been 97mins as I had been feeling unwell that week. Closed blue circle means that i’ve finished my whole 20mins or more for that day – again you can see i’ve been pretty consistent with it!

 

I’ve also seen a positive change within my body, something that i’ve never seen while doing beach body or other exercices: my fat has diminished! Both my belly & “love handles” on each side of my back has became softer & smaller. And that’s just after 2months and a half of using it! Ofcourse I love dancing, so it helps alot with me keeping up with it; and I find it passes so fast!

At first I was quite discouraged, as i’ve been gaining 5lbs twice- but then I started my fat feeling different.. and i’m back to losing my pants as i’m losing the handles I used to have when I bought them 🤣 Which is good! but kinda annoying to always up my pants ahah..
