New-to-me authors I read in 2025, that I wanna read more of
Helloo!
As with every year, there’s quite a few authors that I have read this year that I hadn’t before. Let’s see which ones I wanna read more of.
❤️ Ann Liang
Read; I hope this doesn’t find you
On my list; I’m not jessica Chen
❤️ Syou Ishida
Read; We’ll prescribe you a cat
On my list; We’ll prescribe you another cat
❤️ Kristy Boyce
Read; Dating & Dragons
On my list; Dungeons & Drama
❤️ Mai Mochizuki
Read; Full moon coffee shop
On my list; Best wishes from the full moon coffee shop
Other new to me authors: J.W. Ocker, Rory Power, Kiyoshi Shigematsu, Katie Cicatelli-luc, Kiersten White, Jenny Kiefer, Romy Victory, Marie Voinson, Tanya Guerrero, Kristina Forrest, Diana Urban, and more.
* Some of them I would enjoy read again but either they don’t have other books, or they’re in a genre I can’t read AKA fantasy.
Have you read them?

I didn’t realized Syou Ishida had written a follow-up for We’ll Prescribe You A Cat! That’s definitely going to my wishlist.
Honestly I hadn’t either! I found out through my friend’s blog ahaha- it pubbed in 2023 but it was still “coming soon” in my local bookshop
I think it’s because the tranlation is only just out; the 2023 publish date is for the original version.
Probably yeah
You have read quite a few new authors this year! I do want to read We’ll Prescribe You a Cat and the sequel!
I loved the first, hoping the second is as good
