Good morning!
We’re back onto Non-fiction; I quite love the medical & neuroscience, learning about all the things about our brains & bodies. In this one, we’re looking at what out bones can tell about our stories after our death.
3,5 ⭐️/ 5 stars
It was definately more scientific that I’m used to, but it was reading really well regardless. I expected needing to start another book on the side, but no, I could handle it as usual without the need of a pallet cleanser.
Another thing I was expecting was a different format. I thought it was gonna be more spaced out on a bullet form kind of thing.. instead we got regular novel full pages with big chapters.
Nevertheless, I liked how she devided the squeleton from the skull downward; each bones with the explication of how and when it forms in the mother’s womb along with what it can tell us. Following this part we got a few stories where her expertise was needed to identify a potential identity/way of dying/etc.
It was a really interresting read, which got me curious of what’s story my bones would later tell. Those types of books I don’t tend to keep, as it’s information good knowing but I don’t intend on reread, however I will be passing it along to my friend at work who also wanna read it!
