There’s nothing that I love more than the Male MC being cold & distant.. and it turns out it’s to mask how much of a simp he is for our female MC 😍 added to the confession while drunk and he doesn’t remember it trope. In a retreat cabin in the snowy mountain setting, That I also love in the possibility of being snowed in with the other enemy team. Overall a good combination!
I found both chracters to be super likeable; I could see myself in Viola, and Jesse is not only hot but so respectful!! We love consent, 100%. The bonus chapter being from his POV upon first meeting her was a great addition.
Ofc being a gamer, having two lead gaming designer from different firms was a nice change of written careers. Especially how they’re fighting for a book to game adaptation! my only complaint is how I would’ve loved to read more, specifically how the project went and the finished product.
