Let’s chat Sunday; June 17th

Helloo my people !! 

So something a little more “off topic” for today, I felt like I wanted to chat a little and take things a bit more relax 🙂 I feel like it’s been a while since I really sat down and updated you guys, ahah 

Today is also Father’s day in Canada ! So if I have any dads stumbles upon this.. happy fathers’ day to you. Is it the same where you are in the world also, or is yours a different day ? (like I know mother’s day is..)

♧ First thing, I’ve been a bit “distracted” on my blogging and my readings lately .. First two weeks of the month I was working 4days in a row from supper to closing (10/11pm) – which is quite exhausting, not gonna lie, and after thoses four days I only had 3days of rest before starting it again xD

That combined with the next point … it really slowed me down, im sorry; though you might not had noticed as I did always made sure I atleast had one post done for y’all !

 

♧ You might have seen my « Falling in love » post, and maybe wondered what in hell was happening ? welll guys; your girl here has got herself a boyfriend ! 👏  It’s been officially two weeks tomorrow, and yes we did met on tinder xd But regardless, it does feel like something I never had before and kind of meant to be. He’s a good one, and reads mostly mangas ; which is good, i’ll take it 😂 Fellow gamer too, how cool is that !

 

♧ With that out of the way, deadlines.. You know I added this page to my BuJo recently and erhmm. It’s not going well as you can see 😂 I recently kicked off and finished Beyond the gossamer veil that I honestly didn’t liked that much, but did gave my opinions on NetGalley and upped my rating to 67%! Wierdly, I somehow got a pre-approved email from the same publisher after I gave that ;-; Considering I gave 2/3stars..I don’t really understood why they’d want me automatically approved, but why not.

As I had accepted quite a lot of review requests after my NetGalley arc’s plunge.. I’m a bit swallowed in deadlines as it was possibly the worst timing to get distracted – and I had thought I was good as I was doing So. Well. in my reading … yeah *aherm* oops ?

 

♧ Goodreads reading challenge ! So in 2017, I had reduced my goal to 10 books from July to december. I ended up finishing with only five read.

In the first 6months of 2018, I’ve read 9 !! how incredible !! I’m positive I might’ve succeed and go beyond this one 😍

I’m currently reading The bakery at Seashell Cove, by Karen Clarke. I actually started it while reading “Beyond the Gossamer Veil” as it was kinda meh but then pushed through and put that one on pause, so i’m now resuming it.

 

♧ Mmh.. Last thing, I applied for another job last week !! I do really love mine, but sometimes more funds can always be good .. Our vet were looking to get receptionist(s), no experience needed and they’re willing to train ! I just couldn’t pass that one; with my accounting background, plus how many money I spent there in the last four years, I do think i’d have quite the chances! 

If it can work, I’d like to stay receptionist long enough to pay my loan and credit card, get some funds .. and then i’d wanna go get some vet tech studies ! As I’d already have my feet in the building, I could work part time alongside studying; which would get me some experience AND possibly our vet owner of the clinic would take me to help them.
