It’s my birthday today !! 👀 👀

ALMOST A quarter of century .. oh my ! I’m quite pleased that my birthday falled exactly on a thurday of all days so I can post this pinpoint on my birthday – yaay ! All. the. time. for some reason when I say my birthday is two days after christmas, people either guess the 26th or the 28th x) very few get it right .. [And if you are wondering what your girl is doing on her birthday … i’m working 3-9pm, merp. Atleast we have cakes I can pick for my snack hehehe..]

In 2019, I am really excited for TWO books; Hallow (Celestial Creatures #2) by Olga Gibbs and The blood prince (Sovereign #3) by Josie Jaffrey.

 

BIRTHDAY PRESENTS 🎁 A BOOK THAT SURPRISED YOU WITH HOW MUCH YOU LOVED IT.

I really gotta go in relation with “Party Guests” and say Heavenward (Celestial Creatures #1) by Olga Gibbs. For the backstory, I had avoided fantasy like the plague thinking my brain would just.. NOT cope with the genre and i’d be left needing to DNF as I would be so lost.. and I’ve got this book for review. The resume promised me so much good I just had to take it. And to my surprise.. it was the best thing ever !! Sure, I got little hiccups here and there to understand in my second language but overall it was way better than I would’ve had expected; and that was my first fantasy book that made me wanna reach more onto that genre.

 

THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG 🎵 A BOOK THAT CERTAINLY DESERVED ALL THE HYPE IT GOT.

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman and When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon just to name a few.

GETTING OLDER ✨ A BOOK THAT YOU READ A LONG TIME AGO, BUT YOU THINK THAT YOU WOULD APPRECIATE IT MORE IF YOU READ IT AS A MORE MATURE READER.

Maybe Harry Potter ? Now that I know some fantasy read can work with my brain .. Maybe the second attempt would be better (I’ve haven’t went past the first half I think, when I was about 10)

 

SWEET BIRTHDAY MEMORIES 💖 A BOOK THAT KEPT YOU INCREDIBLY HAPPY DURING A SAD OR DEMANDING PERIOD OF YOUR LIFE.

Sweet Thing by Renée Carlino. Back when I wasn’t reading as much, when I decided to start blogging to help me through that ; That book has been the first one I had finished in AGES. And it felt so good .. I had been broken and sewn over so many time in that book, and Will is just everything I would’ve ever wish for in a guy. Him and Mia was such a great couple, I still need to read “sweet little thing” (Sweet thing 1.5) now that I CAN read in english, ahah!
