Books I was definately* going to read in 2023- Recap Top 5 Tuesday

Heey!

So yesterday you’ve got the new Top 5 Tuesday about which books I was definately* going to read this year in 2024; this one being it’s companion, where we recap if I did ended up reading the ones I said I was going to last year 😂

Here is the original post of January 2023, if you’d like to go read the original too.

I’m gonna say i’m quite pleased with myself!! I’ve read four out of five.. the last one evidently having been shoved back on the list this year ahah 😅 Iswear it wasn’t even on purpose..

  • Love on the Brain, Ali Hazelwood
  • The No-Show, Beth O’Leary
  • Weather Girl, Rachel Lynn Solomon

The No-show has actually been my deception of the year. I’m forever mad that I’ve been lied to and hated this poor dude all along BECAUSE NOBODY TOLD ME WE WERE JUMPING TIMELINES 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

  • The Wall of Winnipeg & Me, Mariana Zapata
  • That Weekend, Kara Thomas

Have you ended up successfully reading your 2023 must* read list?

  1. Ha! I had to go read the end to the No Show before I could go back reading the book because yes, I hated that dude otherwise!

    1. Yess im not the only one!
I skimmed maybe a forth of it.. i wanted to throw the book when I got the end 🤦🏽‍♀️ like really?! She really did us like that.

  2. Good for you!

My reading has gotten so weird. I have no idea what’s coming out or any plans. I just grab whatever hits me when I open the library app. I would love to read my existing, physical book pile. I whittled it down a lot! but I would like to get through a few more books that have been sitting around, unread, for years.

    1. Yes definately!
I find that my mood reading has became wierd too- idk what mood im in !! So I can’t pick anything 😅
