Books under the tree tag!

Good morning!

We have a bookish festive tag for you today! šŸ˜˜Ā As always, I wasnā€™t tagged for this, I ā€œstoleā€ it from Caro @ bookcheshirecat. It was created by Jessica & Christeena @ Game of TomesĀ on booktube.

Ā

1. What book would you like to find under the tree this year?

I donā€™t have a specific book in mind for this year.. I just hope that iā€™d receive my bookstore giftcard (just like every year!) so I can go have some book shopping to do šŸ˜„Ā -itā€™s always a HUGE struggle which one to pick, as there SO. MANY. books Iā€™ve seen hyped-

Ā

2. What is the best book you have ever received for Christmas?

Not including all the books iā€™ve bought with said giftcardĀ -mainly because I wouldnā€™t remember-Ā , out of the two books that I actually requested last year, I have to pick Eliza and her monsters! It was ironically a gift from my ex.. but I was SO happy to finally read it now that I was fine reading in english, and Eliza had such a perfect anxiety rep.

Ā

3./4. What book gives you all the Christmas feels & puts you in the Christmas spirit?

So far, it had beenĀ 10 Blind dates ; which is my first and only festive read iā€™ve read so far šŸ˜…Ā But it did gave me some cheers and it was so cute.. I wouldā€™ve wanted to have a family like that.

Ā

5. What book have you read this year that you would like to throw out with the Christmas tree after the holidays?

I actually havenā€™t gotten any DNF/1-2stars rating yet.. iā€™ve enjoyed all of my read ā€œenoughā€ while reading them.

Ā

6. What is a book from this year that you would like to place under a friendā€™s tree?

The ultimate choice here is the Notes on a nervous planet/Reasons to stay alive sibling books by Matt haig; The world had been worse on the anxiety-inducing side of things because of this pandemic.. so ithink itā€™d be a comforting read & potentially learn some thingsĀ -okay, iā€™m cheating here as I havenā€™t read them this yearā€¦ but itā€™s the best choice-

Ā

7. Challenge: create a stack of books in which the spines alternate green and red! Share the titles.

Ā

8. The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Who do you tag?

As iā€™m not sure whoā€™d be interrested/if anyone did it before Caro, Iā€™ll leave it to tag everyone who wanna do it aswellĀ šŸŽ„ā¤ļø

Ā

Ā

Have you started the festive reading yet, If so what are your current festive read?
Which books would you like to see under the tree this year?
