Bujo post & news; August & September

Morning, peeps !

Another month of 2021 is over, and boy i’m not mad to say goodbye to August.. what a month it had been 😅 sadly more in a bad way than a good way..

August’s overall feeling

This month was quite literally the party month in terms of appointment đŸ€ŁÂ While I don’t usually have anything except work, this month I had 2 health ones for me aswell as 2 for Sheik — one for vaccines & annual checkup, the second for a joint shot that need to be given for 4weeks in a row but is good for a year. (Kafei’s turn for thoses 4 injections on Nov/Dec..)

Because of our “Green phase” going sour & having quite lots of cases daily for my area, I had been an anxious mess with almost constant anxiety đŸ€ŠđŸœâ€â™€ïžÂ Reading also kinda took a shove away as gaming is usually my pick of choice when anxious, and this was also a month of headaches & sinus aches.. my playlist of Linkin Park has been going on strong as they do comfort and calm me.

To top it off- the weather has been AWFUL! my body can’t tolerate too much heat, as my meds makes me overheat faster- and we had 2 or 3 heat waves in the month with over 40ÂșC! đŸ˜„Â Inside of our store was up to 24ÂșC, pretty sure I did a few heat fatigues along the way *aherm*

August’s events

♄ I’ve finished three books this month, everyone from my shelves. “La vie est un Roman”, “The Comfort Book“ aswell as “Last chance books” — despice everything, this is quite good for me, all thanks to the Comfort book that was an easy & quick read!

I finished all books standing on my Summer TBR and already went ahead and created an Autumn TBR. The last book i’ve read this month also succeded my yearly goal of reading 20 books! đŸ‘đŸŒÂ 15 counting for my #BeatTheBacklist, and the 1 for my audiobook challenge.

♄ Only one Sunday’s post has been made this month, 7th blood donation & book haul, aswell as a few more Mental Health posts; Medication don’t erase the disorder, blogging w/ anxiety: would people wanna read this?. With everything going on, No posts has been skipped this month- only one coming in later in the day.

Two of my faves posts I made this month has been Can reading give you a Runner’s High & The “Why they can’t be together now” effect.

September’s pages

This is the hardest month for me to plan- as the only thing that comes to mind for september is school supply! and as i’m not even in school anymore.. 😅 I picked the same type of pages like I did for August, and I went with Dark Red & Gold ink.

Quotes’ read “The one thing you can change is how you treat yourself. And that one thing changes everything” — as i’ve now completed my yearly goal, I’ve also decided to write the books read directly onto the month spread.

I don’t even know what this is xD The shapes are generally wierd, but the coloring of the little random drawings make this page a little effy to me :/

How was this month for you?
Do you have fancy plans for September? Are you going back to school?

  1. Wow, 40 degrees is so hot! 30 is pretty hot here, and that is way too warm for me, so I couldn’t deal with 40!
And I always tend to find Linkin Park comforting too! I think for me its nostalgia, because that was the music I loved in high school.
I hope you have a good September!

    1. Yep same for me! That band kept being good through the years.. they just never go out of fashion!
I can barely breathe at 30, you won’t catch me outside at 40 😂 only because I HAVE to go to work, otherwise im staying inside with the AC on ahah

Thank you! Have a lovely september too xx
