Good morning,
Here we are again.. man this month was bad on my side for the posts inspiration juice going, also maybe for reading too- not quite a slump, but i’ve just been more “erh” reading than usual. 🤔
Also, I may or may not be panicking as im SO not ready yet for my book tour on the second of May *aherm*
April’s Habit Tracker
That was a pretty good month nonetheless if you ask me.. still place for improvement 🙈 but way better than past month’s so far, specially on the « Weeins » part of the HT.
And though i’ve hit some “blogging holes” throughout the month, only two days were left un-returned on comments so yeah.. im quite proud of this..
Events of the month
~ First, I finished (quite late..) my Netgalley’s Arc of We were beautiful – which to be fair I had gotten like 5days before publication so eh, that happens 🙈 I then went ahead and finished rereading Heavenward (free currently on amazon, guys!!) and will soon finish it’s sequel, Hallow; review here.
~ This month, I was also participating into the BookEnding Spring event hosted by Sam & Clo! Sadly, my brain wasn’t as imaginative as I thought It’d be when I first saw the prompts.. but I nonetheless succeeded into doing my minimum of three posts! Soo, yay?
~ Because of the delay between the time the government got my money and the time I sent it.. I technically STILL had 46cents of interest to pay on my student loan 😂 which was paid at the start of the month.. I even received a letter congratulating me for paying it all! (Which, ironically only arrived on the 27th..)
~ I finally re-did my dermal!!! Aaah !! 👏🏼👏🏼 which i’m gonna do a off-track post on both my experiences, because holy that second time was a change of the first! Instead of 5mins, it took her 30..which mom was panicking on the other room thinking i’d had fainted or something xd but no.. just making sure it was were we wanted it, that it was deep enough as not everybody will have the same “depth” and stuff.. been only 9days and it already looks so much better than the old one never did!
~ I haven’t done a post this year, but on the 22nd we celebrated the fourth year since mom’s kidney transplant 💚 You may have seen it on twitter, as i’ve mentionned it aswell as shared my fb post that I wrote on the occasion. If you are unaware and want to know more about this, I have a post on that.
Monthly love sharing !

– Beth @ BooksNest shared “Book Blogger myths Debunked”; A lot of us might need to read this.. specially newcomers 😅
– Katie @ The Tin Kitchen did a wonderful post about “Trigger Warning Myth Busting” and oh lord. PRAISE. I so loved this one.
– In the same Vein, Xandra @ Starry Skies Books and Ayushi @ My Bookish Blog shared “some things they wished they knew when they started blogging” (Xandra) and “lessons learned in the first 3months of blogging” (Ayushi)!
– As it was Autism awareness/pride month, Jess @ Crowing about Books did a “#Actuallyautistic book recs”

– Last but not least, Ara shared five of her “must follow Asian Bloggers!”
Unlike our usual BuJo posts, this was the end of my first Bullet Journal (the blue one) — So we won’t get into May’s pages in this post, as I already showed them to you when I did my “Start of a new BuJo” post. If you have missed them, please feel free to go click the link and go see them now !
** The “Next month’s Bujo” will of course be back at the end of May’s Bujo post **
How was your month? Anything exciting or new in your bujos, lately?
Ahh, thank you for including my post in your round up of the month! I’m glad this month was good for you, and I hope next month is even better!
Thank you!
It felt honestly kinda short and like not much happened 😂 though, seeing it like that doesn’t make it looks that bad, eh!
Hopefully may is kind to you aswell xx
Aww, thanks!! That’s really sweet of you 😊 Hope you have a fantastic May!
Thank you! I hope your may is fantastic aswell xx
Thanks for the link! I’m glad you liked the post 🙂
Congrats on paying off those loans! That’s incredible.
Thank you! Omg it is, it felt so surreal 😅 I honestly never felt id do it .. as sad as is sounds, I was 19 when I got it so I never experience being an adult without one
Kristina tu crèmes les pattes des chiens??? Why? Because it’s winter and there is salt on the roads??? LOL
Exactement!
That’s why 😂 with the cold and salt, the toesies gets dry and harsh… its more like petrolium jelly and not like cream-cream.. we even put it on their bellies (dry skin) and Kafei’s bald spots. So it protects and hydrates.
Sheik had a paw pad injury where a chunk of black « leathery » of it removed… so it helps.
Ah hopefully you’ll get more reading and blogging dine next month. And congrats on repaying the student loan! 😊
Thanks a lot for sharing, I’m hoping to see you participate in OTT this time 😉💕
oof I hope your May goes better than April! nice job returning comments from almost every day though 🎉 and thank you for the pingbacks 💕
hopefully this month or next will be the last in my current bullet journal – I’ve been looking forward to moving into my traveler’s notebook since my parents gave it to me for christmas! (off a wishlist, so it’s the exact one I wanted 😜) it’s always so exciting to start a new notebook!
So exciting isnt it !!
My new one didnt came as pretty as Id have wanted… so im kinda sad about that – but well, gonna have to tolerate it.
Thank you, May your may be good aswell (heheh!)😘
wow I’ve been pretty invested in bujoing a few months back but I never got to make a habit tracker because I’m pretty sure I won’t fill it in everyday haha. I hope your may will be better than April!
I have the opposite problem, i’m always on that page and being anxious about it ahaha
May you have a nice may aswell xx

I love seeing your bujo pages! I’m the worst at keeping up with mine.
Congrats on paying off your student loans!
AWw thank you ! I’m not particularly happy of this new month’s one .. But I do am happy people are enjoying my Bujo posts !
Congrats on your mom’s 4 years!! I bet its wonderful to see her so much healthier. ❤️ Sometimes the post juices are not flowing!! I hope May is more inspiration Kristina. And thanks for sharing my post!!
So far the inspiration is still kinda « erh » 😂 but yes! Though with the lowering of her immunity to be sure the new kidney isnt rejected, she have a little things here and there but no more dialysis! So that’s good- she’s no longer « slowly dying », the rest is pretty minor to me.
