End of July, Start of August ⟡

Summer is already almost over !

Yet again, it is time to share what I did this month and what I had planned for the next one’s spreads – I definately think that I do get better as I go, specially for my weekly spreads; it’s looking so much more even now.

Habit Tracker ;

My vacation definately shifted some things up, specially for the weeins as I wasn’t with them for 8days.. and then I kind of runned on “smooth” with my head still in vacation afterward for a few days 😂

Memorable events ;

➞ I’ve only finished two books this month, Under Rose-tainted Skies & Meet me in Cockleberry Bay

➞ As I just stated above, I of course had my vacation with Alex this past month too – you can read what we did here.

➞ I successfully completed my goal of 3 posts for #BookendingSummer19 ! I even went ahead and posted an extra one too.

× To read or not to read outside (July 4th)
× Summer in books VS My real summer (July 7th)
× Down & Acrostic (July 14th)
× Popular books I couldn’t get into (July 28th)  *Extra post

➞ That month has been rather smooth apart of our vacation; I got to see my bestfriend from my “native” town 3hours away for a couple of hours as she came up here the day before we left onto our vacation as she came to see Def Leppard on show.

We also finally got out swim of the summer 😂 Myself and Alex went to our town’s waterpark to swim a bit. It was quite a hot day but we ended up only staying an hour as it was getting fresh – but we had fun anyway and played some mini golf afterward!

Loved posts of the month! ;

♥ Becky @ Uptown Oracle shared her tips for improving our productivity!

Evelina @ Avalinah’s Books debunked some book blogging myths that are far than true!

♥ Lottie @ Lottieiswriting shared her picks of 5 games that all book lovers should play! Inspired by Becky @ Uptown Oracle’s Why gaming is great for book lovers.

♥ Emily @ The Little Book Affair shared the part of college nobody talks about – i’ve been there, though it had been different for me, so I know how important it is to hear this!

♥ Kal @ Reader Voracious explain what she wished guides would’ve told her about paid wordpress VS self-hosted.

Next month’s spreads;

As I had no idea what colors I wanted, I actually asked mom to pick them for me xD And I ended up quite loving the colors she picked out. I took the time to doodle some flowers too, which some of them looks kinda bad ahaha but oh well.

* I had added another Review Request to this; “Screamcatcher: Web World”

Note; this is supposed to be “closed” roses xD

Has July been good to you ? Anything exciting planned for August?

  1. Well, I’ve gotten more arcs 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ But I have actually written in my bullet journal! It looks half okay since I barely use it and have no drawing/concept of lines and space 😂 now we just have to see if I keep up with it.

    I love the roses!

  2. Aww, the closed roses are adorable. You shared some great posts and I’m glad you got to have some fun in the water this summer! We still might head toward the indoor swimming pool here before the school year starts again lol, and I loved your BE Summer posts!

  3. I hope you had a great month! I’ve barely been able to read anything all summer because of this stupid slump and trying to write my own book. D:
    Also I thought your roses were cinnamon rolls and now I’m hungry. XD XD

    1. Oh no ! Hopefully your slump leave you alone soon enough!

      ahaha yep, Iknow eh .. that’s mainly why I said they were roses XD I kinda butched it ..

  4. I absolutely love bullet-journalling, it’s been life-changing. I’m glad you exceeded your expectations for #BookEndingSummer , congrats!
