End of May, Start of June 🌻

Good morning, everyone! xx

It’s finally looking like summer in canada~ We’re getting some heat, and *hopefully* winter shall be behind us for GOOD this time! May is coming to an end, and thus it’s our monthly rendez-vous to see what happened in my month :3

We’re starting with no habit tracker this month .. I have been loving how I had set it up and will continue to put them in my weekly spread rather than on a “monthly” page, however this makes it harder to show it to you. I don’t wanna take the whole weekly spreads, but I haven’t quite found the way for me to collage them together yet.

What happened in May;

🌻 I finished two books this month, both having been sitting on my shelf for quite a while now; “La fille de Brooklyn” (FR) and “A totally Awkward Love Story”. While I haven’t wrote a review for my french read, I did wrote one for the second on Goodread.

🌻 May was generally so much better than the past 2-ish months ago when this pandemic started.. in fact, we are now into phase 3 of coming back to normal (more things starting to open again, we can see up to 10people at a time outdoors, etc.) plus my work hours has decreased of about roughly 10hrs/week, as our students and everyone that was laid off due to the corona crisis has started working again! This has been a great help onto my general being, as I was pretty much onto my breaking point of overworking myself 🤣 The more it went on, the more I was panicky and just soo salty for every little things..
-Try to panic with a face mask on… it’s hell and makes me wanna panic even more-

I had gotten my special “memorial” pandemic shirt!! As for all the dachshund shirts that I got from this local group of wiener parents, funds from the sale went to our Dachshund Rescue — as it’s particularly hard for them to get funds 🐾

🌻 All of my driving classes’ in-cars has been cancelled now, due to this crisis… While the original estimated date for my driving test had been for end of May, I still have four  “classes” that we missed because of this crisis, and considering I had only parralel parked twice.. I’m kinda bummed out that it will take me longer, not to say that it was one course a month/sometimes two and I don’t even have any more dates nor any idea when they’ll reach me to give me more dates or anything 😓

🌻 My baby Sheik turned 5 years old on the 23rd !! We didn’t took many pictures this year, as I worked from noon-8pm that day; but I did bought a “special cookie”/birthday cake thing in the shape of a surfboard!! so of course I needed to take a picture of her with it.

🌻 If you follow me on twitter you probably saw the Before/after tweet already.. but I have yet again made my mother (and my aunt) cut my hair. I actually didn’t went as far as I wanted to go.. but I kind of didn’t had the balls to do it 😂 This is the shortest I’ve ever had my hair and i’m still not convinced on the look of it yet; BUT I do love the feels of it!

Plus, this shall work as a “clean slate” to make my hair grow healthier onto their natural color.. as I has been losing them like crazy!

Onto June’s pages

  • What do you think of the new “format”?
  • Is the Habit Tracker pages important for you, or is it okay as is?
    (accordingly.. shall I change the name of the post? kind of less Bujo-y..)

How was your May? Anything interesting happened? xx
