First wrap up of 2024; January
Good morning!
Incredible how we’re passed through the first month of 2024 already.. I’m sure this year will also pass in a blink!
January’s Feels
I was quite unhappy with my reading this month.. though I tried to keep reminding myself that it’s just the first month! Lots of time to get better.
My allergies kept kicking my ass, as our weather kept going up and down 😅 got one big-ish snowstorm as dad was working away, thanksfully im used to driving in Canadian winters or else.. On other news mother fell again 🤦🏽♀️ infuriating me after a wait time of 11hrs at the ER im forever salty; she’s slowly better, her leg feeling less painful though it’s tainted blue of bruises; the first few days she could barely walk or sit without help.
What I’ve read
Alas, I’ve ended up finishing 3 books & 1 DNF. Vera Wong’s ended up bleeding through 2024, and I got through Squad (a graphic novel) aswell as Out of Character. No french book read as of now, as the Paranormal Hoacks one I started ended up a DNF 😅

♥︎ Blogging went through okay this month! I went back to Top 5 Tuesdays, Let’s talk bookish aswell as Six Degrees of Separation & Randomizing my TBR. Among those i’ve also shared Using suicide to convey a message?, January; an inspiring yet depressing month? Aswell as the usual recap posts of 2023 like Comparing my 2022 & 2023 reading stats.
♥︎ My gaming has been gravitating between Sims 4, as I just bought For Rent that is buggy, unfortunately; but also ToTK as i’m back on my BS of obsessing over it 😂
♥︎ Let’s not forget about Palestine’s Genocide, as of which we had a boycott & infos mainly populating my Twitter. We are privileged in so many ways.. i’m really saddened by how sick and mean some of us human beings can be 💔 We all deserve to be free & safe, no matter where we come from. Their lives matters too!
