Having a good summer while being prone to overheating?

Good morning!

As you may or may not know, I take anti-depressants to help with my anxiety & depression; Which, In case you didn’t know, makes it easier for you to overheat and suffer from heat fatigues or even heat strokes.

Just at work, I’ve suffered many heat fatigues already- as of which gives you horrible migraines. Not a fun thing at all.. We were just in late may and we had already seen days where it went over 30 degrees celcius! At this much, I can’t stand even 5mins outside without melting 😅 we went to the petshop with the dogs, and just from the door to my car I was melting.

To add to my misery, about a 30min drive is needed to go to the seashore.. drive that i’m not fond of making, ahah! No pools are allowed where we live, except maybe a small kiddie pool that you can just sit in it – funnily enough, I did that a couple years ago! Sat in the kiddie pool with a made up shading with a blanket in-between two chairs ahah.

So what can we do? Whenever i’m not working, I tend to remain home in my powerful AC 😅, though ofcourse it’s not ideal.. Losing ourselves to summery books & videogames always helps. We also got a new patio set this year with a bigger gazebo; more shades but doesn’t help when you can’t breathe with the heat..
