How would life be without blogging?

Good morning!

I’ve already addressed  and wonder What were we doing before blogging — but what about the other way around? What would happend if we suddently stopped blogging?

As one of my fear of taking a hiatus is just to never come back to blogging – I have to say that I did give a thought as to what life would be without blogging…

Sure, the stress around the blogging world would be gone; The pressure of missing a post, omg-what-do-i-post-tomorrow, the “extra” tasks of returning the comments and replying to them ..

But also; there would be a lot of things missing .. For me, all of the extra tasks help me get the feeling of “productivity” I need to feel like I did something out of my days – and well, the chance to drift away from all my friends I made with blogging. Also, as you have seen with my recent post The pursuit of our fairytale ✨, writing is my creative-ish outlet to channel my emotions out of my body. Writing them on paper and keeping them in a notebook “privately” is one thing, but i’m one to LOVE oversharing and sometimes you just need the “outsider” point of view that people reading what you wrote can give you.

Of course, there’s bloggers who chooses to step out all the time — and that’s absolutely okay! No jugement there, we’re all different and if you have other things you’d prefer to give the time previously allowed to blogging to, feel free to !

I’m just one lonely person 😂. I don’t really do anything else than going to work, gaming and blogging. I seem to only have two modes: Way too much time on my hands, and absolutely no time to breathe .. So to be completely honest, I have no idea what i’d do with myself if blogging were to be removed out of my life; specially now that I don’t have any partner to give some time to anymore – I’ve been throwing myself onto working 6days a week instead of 5 as we do struggle with that currently but you know.. one can’t work 7days a week either and you have to have other things to do xd

What would you think it’d look like if you suddently stopped blogging?
Are you pros & cons like mine? Is there any differences?

  1. Probably boring. The amount of books I’d read would probably go down, I think. Might play more video games or write a bit more. But I like having a full schedule and trying to add more tasks 😄 it’s fun for me.
Exactly! Like I’ve made so many friends through blogging and all these extra tasks – blog hopping, comment replying etc, makes me happier because I’ve got so many things to do 😄

  2. Way too much time on your hands and no time to breathe is a serious mood!!! And I get it, sometimes I think of just not having to bother with having months of reading and posts planned, but, then Iknow I’d be bored lol

  3. I think if I stopped blogging, I’d stop reviewing. If I stopped with no firm return time (like cruise that limits wifi, illness or surgery and recovery, etc. In other words, something else is already disrupting my routine), then I wouldn’t come back. Blogging and reviewing can sometimes be stressful, but they focus my routine and that’s very necessary with my CFFM slowly getting worse. I think I’d then end up stagnating. So I keep it up, as I can, and don’t sorry about maybe missing a post, or posting some much later. Just look at my last two Hunter Reports/ Month in Review posts. I *just* post July & August at the tail end of September 😂😅
