Good morning!
What’s better than my last post before Christmas to be a Christmas Book Tag?! 😄 Thanks to Emmie @ Another Night of Reading who tagged me!
1. “All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?
Unlike last year, I actually don’t have any specific book that I want this year.. Here’s a list that I however wouldn’t mind receiving!
2. “Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?
I have a few .. but I’d say maybe Letters to the Lost from Brigid Kemmerers & Fierce Fragile Hearts from Sara Barnard.
3. “It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has the most festive look to it?
Mmmh- I didn’t started reading any holiday reads quite yet, and i’m not too fond of the cover from the one I bought for my mother; Neither do I find a particularly pleasing one into my wanting to read tbr soo — Imma skip this one 😅
4. Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?
Most of the times it’s not a book in particular, but rather the whole YA section — I think the last one I read like that may have been When we Collided by Emery Lord? Though it’s not really a “child” per say anymore, I just feel myself going back in time to my teenager self; and in some cases legit jumping on my bed from the excitement of a specific scene!
If we wanna go even younger than that, Les aventures des Tintins by Hergé always brings me back when I was a smoll child begging my godmother to read them to me, with ALL the different voices!
5. The Grinch | Your favourite villain…
It’s rare that I read anything with Villains.. But i’d go with Baza from the Celestial Creatures serie by Olga Gibbs. At first he seems like a super innocent Grandpa-like Man .. but oh man, would you be wrong to think that he is!
6. The Holiday | Name your favorite TWO couples…
So –of COURSE I gotta include Julia & Lucas from The sovereign Trilogy by Josie Jaffrey 💕and for the second.. Can I cheat and say Link & Zelda (specifically from BoTW)? 😅
7. What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?
Because I know we don’t all like the same type of books, i’m actually gonna go with a Non-fiction that I think anyone could benefit from here.. And that is Reasons to Stay Alive By Matt Haig!
I’m tagging Clo @ Cuppa Clo, Jamsu @ Jamsu Dreams, Mere @ Lore of the Books and Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads! Of course feel free to do it anyway if you haven’t been personally tagged, or to ignore this if you are and don’t feel like doing it!
Merry Christmas // Happy holidays, Friends xx
Oh Kristina this looks adorable!! I’ll have to post tomorrow ON christmas day!! Thank you for the tag!!
Yay! 👏🏼👏🏼
Aaahh Les Aventures de Tintin always, always makes me feel nostalgic ahah I loved these, I go back to them often!! 🙂
I should honestly read them more !! I read them once last year during a slump ithink? I mainly wanted to collect them just for memory purposes xd but I totally should.
this is such a great festive tag – and I love the photos in this post, they all look so cozy and inviting!
of the books/authors you list I’m only familiar with Matt Haig, but I love his work and Reasons to Stay Alive has been on my TBR for quite a while.
Thank you ! I’m pleased they turned out good without too much of a fuss – ahah!
I loved that one, I hope you’d enjoy! Xx
