June’s freakout ! (Mid-year freakout tag)
Say what ? Half of the year has passed us by already !! So just like pretty much everyone right now, Let’s do the mid-year freakout tag !
Out of my 12 books goal, I managed to finish 9 (!!!) in the last 6months, which is insane for me, as I am FOUR! books! ahead of schedule 😱 I might aswell add my current read «The bakery at Seashell cove» by Karen Clarke as i’m only 20-ish% left in it ..
** I was considering doing this anyway, but thanks a bunch to Norrie @ reading under the blankie to have tagged me for this !
Best book you’ve read this year ?
I’m sorry guys, but this year my book I won’t stop screaming about is Heavenward !! I had not heard about this book up until the author kindly asked me to review it ; Which as you know, i’m actually not a fantasy reader .. BUT ! The synopsis was just looking so good I had to. And surely enough, I don’t think I couldve pick a better book to introduce me to this genre. I absolutely LOVED it and will wait (not so) patiently for the rest of the books in the serie !!
Best sequel you’ve read in 2018?

..I would had said “Let’s look into my virtually wanna read” but.. as im writting this goodreads’ is down .. hah..
Most Anticipated Release For The Second Half Of The Year?
eeeh.. you guys know I actually don’t really look for what will get published .. I just vaguely explore NetGalley sometimes and that’s it 😂 So I don’t know what to tell you here; I don’t anticipate any.
I only wait for the following books of Heavenwards, but I don’t think thoses will actually release this year ..
Biggest Disappointment?
Probably “Beyond the gossamer veil” .. really not what I thought it would have been. and was kinda meh, hence why I haven’t reviewed it here and only on Netgalley and Goodreads x)
Biggest Surprise?
I’d say Heavenward again ? Just because I would’ve never thought I’d ever be able to read fantasy ahah also wasn’t expecting my heart to be actually racing in some scenes !! Left my imagination bubbling after each reading sessions (which was really good for posts ahah)
Favorite New To You Or Debut Author?
New to me; Nicola may. Debut Author; Olga Gibbs.
both of thoses ladies are also so kind and I love how interacting they are with me 💗 On top of loving both of their books, of course.
Newest Favorite Character?
So, I got a few more book boyfriends .. *aherm* reid from The art of french kissing and rafe and Sam from Heavenward, of course !

Probably all of them .. ahaha yep. i’m one of thoses who’s always sobbing while reading. hah.
Book That Made You Happy?
Most of them did at some point, i’d say .. but I’d showcase “The heart between us” and “the art of french kissing”

Again, I haven’t really watched any to be honest x)

Probably this one; where I rambled about what if falling in love could really be like in our books ? Which was inspired by my now boyfriend — and also the comments I got on this one was really sweet !

What Books Do You Need To Read By The End of the Year?
Alot. ahaha I still have 5 review requests to complete for June, and one for July so far 😓 But i’d really love to read “Under rose tainted skies“, “radio silence“, “A totally awkward love story” and “the nerdy and the dirty” from my own tbr of books I own already. Also “Eliza and her monsters”, which I don’t own yet !
