What first attracted me was the premise; a different take on “we all went on vacation.. and only I came back”. Instead of the MC being clueless of what happened, in this one she knows what happened… She killed them. Or so we thought, as one came back.
I absolutely love an unreliable character; and Nan is exactly that. The story is told between “now” & “then” chapters.. giving us twists I hadn’t seen it coming!
