Good morning!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t pick up my anticipated release as scheduled in my WWWednesday last week as it took it’s sweet time to get to me 😅 (expected Mar 26, then Mar 30.. Received on Apr 1.); So here’s the books I finished waiting for it to arrive! I didn’t felt like reading the books I had, as i was quite in a horror/mystery/thriller mood, I wanted something similar to Killing Creatures.
The cursed moon, Angela Cervantes

I very rarely pick middle grade, but this one was so good! Even as a grown adult, I was feeling uneasy and holding my breath in anticipation. Quick & easy read, I love how stories have cats saving the day ; loved the leopard “scary story” and how the cat knew to come back and find Family ❤️
You were never here, Kathleen Peacock

This one was closer to what i had been in the mood for; with a twist that our MC has a secret gift.
I found almost everyone to be likeable; Cat being a bit of a unreliable character and withholding informations from us, wha happened the summer with riley? Why is she a “monster”? Why happened with Lacey? Questions that we slowly get the answers to.
In a different twist, the killer is thought to be closer than we’d thought, in a situation that didn’t even seemed to have been linked to each other at first.
Have you read any of these?
