Good morning!
For a while I hadn’t been in the mood to buy books.. everything just felt meh and nothing seemed to scratch the itch. As i’m posting this, tomorrow is my Christmas Staff party! My excuse to go in my fave bookshop to grab a gift exchange gift 🤭
The theme of the day had been nonfiction for some reason.. I went there alone, probably for the first time- and spent a whole hour browsing 😆 Now I had known right away what I wanted to buy for my gift exchange, but I had to pick it up in store so it was pointless to me to order online.
The books;
I absolutely love books about dogs like this, giving us short stories of heroic canine- I picked it up right away. I really tried to leave the second there.. but I kept picking it back up so I went “fuck it”. While I kept browsing the entirety of the store, nothing else caught my eye. and Ofcourse none of them were on my virtual wanna read, so we aren’t shrinking it 😅
The goodies;
We’re baristas.. and yes, I love pens. If you remember Last year’s gift exchange, I had gifted sardines pens! not only is it useful as nobody ever has any pens and steal my friend’s, but also how cute are they with the coffee beans & martinis on them.
It’s also my friend’s birthday on the 22nd; she loves reading and is also a fanatic of pickles like me. So I just couldn’t pass buying her the pickle bookmark. the other side is an inside view of said pickle.
