October ‘24 Book haul!

Heyoo!

Okay- I got a good reason for this haul: 1) I had done a mega unhauling last month & 2).. i was going to my local store to buy my goddaughter’s birthday present 😅 so ofcourse I had to splurge some on myself too.,

It was her second birthday on the 2nd (bday party on the 6th), so I went and got her a toddler hide & seek halloween edition book 🥰 I know my own godmother had a collection of where’s waldo and I loved these growing up!

Roaming around the store children section we also got her a few more stuff.. like a horse head on a stick! Again, i used to love those- haven’t seen any kids not liking it, really..

Now onto my haul! It’s always such a hard time trying to figure which hyped books to get 😭 I decide to focus on spooky season’s books for this time (except for one).

I also got a set of pretty black pens in a pack of 4, as all my black pens were dying on me.

  • I hope this doesn’t find you, Ann Liang
  • Death at morning house, Maureen Johnson
  • Casse-Noisette, Sylvain Johnson
  • La princesse au petit pois, Josée Marcotte

One contemporary, One thriller & two horror; that I split between french and english.

What books have you bought lately?
Did you enjoyed any of these?

  1. Oh, some great choices! I really need to buy the newest Maureen Johnson someday, it keeps getting out of stock on Amazon. Happy belated birthday to your goddaughter!

  2. October really is the time for a good horror book. I choose The Whistling by Rebecca Netley this year and I’ve really enjoyed the atosphere that the book creates.
