October ‘25 Wrap up 🍂

Heey,

I can’t believe we’re only 2 months left onto 2025, and to my birthday! It still just feels like January was just a few moments ago.. I don’t like this growing up thing 🥲 Everything passes as quick as a blink of an eye, they really didn’t lie to us!

October’s feels;

This month was really a rollercoaster of feels.. last that I talk to you was end of September’s with Sheik congestive heart failure.. well that was not all. With the medications she ended getting better- to fall off again 😭 her vet gave us antibiotics as she was having quite some nasal discharges looking yellowish so she said she would not take any chances due to her age. again, it got better.. but failed. So we brought her -again- as she was being choked with mucus and the course of atibiotics were done.

Mother was scared she was in pain, and that it was her heart again. The vet confirmed she wasn’t in any pain, just a big sinus infection; being chronic at this point and might take several weeks to cure completely. She gave us actual kids medication that they would use on cats for upper respiratory infections. She wouldn’t eat so this one was a liquid- 1,5ML everyday for a week and then only 3x a week. To our relief, she started feeling better and expressing the mucus! She took her ball for the first time in a month, and wanting to eat her brother’s food again! The vet also reduced on of her medication we added last time, the “water pill” that was supposed to help drain her lungs, as she don’t need it now- it’s just to maintain and make sure it doesn’t fill up again.

With all her medications and work, everything else kinda fell on the back burner 😅
