Randomizing my TBR #60 | Mar 9, ’26

Hey friends!

New year, new opportunity to dust off our tbrs! We went through 60 of these, wow !! The amount of books that we removed and added again

So anyway- truth be told we may see doubles as at this point I don’t quite rememeber what books we’ve seen on before.. and hey, I can always change my mind and remove them after all!

This TBR game/whatever you wanna call it – is entirely my own idea (though the concept of TBR games are not original). You are more than welcome to do it yourself, but I would like credit; @DBsguidetothegalaxy.

  • The Steps; Go to your want-to-read shelf. Click to show 10 books (for Goodreads, that’s down at the bottom). Also on Goodreads, click to sort the books by random.
Now you have 10 random books!Decide what to do with them – remove, read right now, or just… leave it on the tbr shelf lol. What I did which isn’t very smart, lol, is create two additional tbr shelves.

So, because I use Storygraph, mine will be done a bit different.. as it doesn’t allow me to randomize 10 books just yet. So I choosed to be shown “Pub date; earliest first”. I will then proceed to take the first 10 it gives me, depending on if I remember seeing them already or not.

While I still reads YA, some themes doesn’t feel as appealing to me anymore .. neither does rewritten fairytales- i’m not even a disney fanatic 😅 All that being said, as a mood reader, maybe my opinion will change in a near future, or not.. but right now these synopsises doesn’t attract me. Other decisions are made based of the ” X in the serie”, which ofcourse we know I hate series, and I don’t want too much of big ones. there’s also a bit of cover hate..

Have you read any of those?
