Randomizing my TBR #7 | Feb 19, ’24

Good morning!

We are doing good removing stuff; yes I did added some more from books that I found on my libby app that had been newly added 🥲 I however didn’t added the french ones I added on amazon though, but I also removed some random ones too?

This TBR game/whatever you wanna call it – is entirely my own idea (though the concept of TBR games are not original). You are more than welcome to do it yourself, but I would like credit; @DBsguidetothegalaxy.

  • The Steps; Go to your want-to-read shelf. Click to show 10 books (for Goodreads, that’s down at the bottom).
    • Also on Goodreads, click to sort the books by random.
Now you have 10 random books!
    • Decide what to do with them – remove, read right now, or just… leave it on the tbr shelf lol. What I did which isn’t very smart, lol, is create two additional tbr shelves.

So, because I use Storygraph, mine will be done a bit different.. as it doesn’t allow me to randomize 10 books just yet. So today’s mood will be “Mysterious”, “fiction”, and I choosed to be shown “earliest added”. I will then proceed to take the first 10 it gives me.

Removing:

The lake house, how to survive your murder, the woman in the library, gravity of missing things (?? no real synopsis here), Katzenjammer, the sorority murder

Virtual wanna read shelf after altercations; 1172 books!

There was alot of repeat in that list.. I tried to pluck them all out but I might’ve miss some 😅 So forgive me if some of those books we have seen before. I don’t really follow any path to what I remove or not; some just feels “meh” to me now reading the synopsis, despite having a part of it that sounds good. I tried to go for the obvious time-jump & too high fantasy that I don’t like and know I wouldn’t enjoy.. And you know the drill, we can always add them back on, ahah!

Have you read any of those?
