Sunday’s Chat — Busy Bee

Good morning!

As sunday’s are usually the “relax day” of the week, this is always my favorite to post a little wrap up of the week/share some of my thoughts with y’all! Get yourself something to drink, and let’s chat!

* This is my version of the meme “Sunday’s Post” going around the blogosphere (without the this week’s/next week’s posts) hosted by @Caffeinated Reviewer.

As the Covid’s restrictions has been toning down for almost a month now, people are now starting to be coming back .. Which means work is getting busier – My “harder” work days are now being Thursdays & Saturdays instead of just the weekend.. as of which I need to go to work earlier on Saturdays (10am instead of noon), and as the customer interactions increased.. I can barely do my necessary cleaning so I do need to stay a bit later.

While it’s nice for the business and less boring to be serving customers; it is quite hard on my morale to see that I can’t accomplish all that I need to be doing because well – I’m missing quite some more arms to do all of it 🙃 plus the annoyance of people still not wearing the masks when they should because “we’re in phase orange now!!” and clearly being annoyed when I ask them to place one while in our drive thru, and let’s not forget thoses who enter with one.. and then when they get back up from the table the masks has dissapeared because they “forget” 🤦🏽‍♀️ (mind you, masks is fine to be removed at the table, but as soon as you get up and wander in our store, it needs to get back on.)

★ I’ve been reading “One by One” by Ruth Ware still – having quite an interactive reading the other night as we were having quite heavy winds (which I hate), while this thriller involves being stuck in a cabin on a ski mountain.

★ Talking of weather.. we’ve been having a period of big cold (-27 degrees celcius), with snow and blizzards with heavy winds for a while. Iknow that as Canadians, we probably still will be seeing snow on the ground until probably June… but I can’t wait for some more warmer and prettier days 😅

★ Instead of being big on watching heavily true crime youtube videos like I did last month, i’ve went back onto watching animes! My last one that I had been watching has been “Love, Chunibyo & other dilusions!” which is quite adorable!! I did not really expected it, but the lasts episodes just made me MELT! 🥰

Next, I really should finish watching “CardCaptor Sakura” aswell as “Soul Eater”, both of which that I had started.. but didn’t finished. Eventually I wanna get back to “Seven Deadly Sins”, rewatching it all to refresh my memory and get to the last season that had been launched (the sixth ithink?) — but i’m not quite ready for this, as it’s still so tied to my ex.

★ Game wise, I’ve recently discovered “Death Road to Canada” on switch by my friend.. and been addicted ever since. One of thoses randomized game where your decision affect your gameplay, which the point is to get safely to Canada. So far even though I started maybe 20 games, I still hasn’t managed to get to Canada 🙃 but it’s still fun nonetheless! I’ve encountered Elvis and Jason the killer randomly on the road, aswell as an Anime Girl with a love wand.

How was your week?
What has you been watching/reading lately?

  1. That must be so annoying seeing people not wearing masks all the time when you’re at work! I know just going into shops here you see so many people without them even though they’re meant to be mandatory, so I imagine working in any kind of customer service you see it all the time.

    1. Im someone who’s quite irritable too- nothing pisses me off worst than that! And then they get all annoyed when I ask them to wear one 🤦🏽‍♀️ not actively saying anything.. but their annoyance is knows. Takes me everything to keep my « customer service » rep and not get mad 🤣

  2. Oof to the no wearing masks, I can attest to the annoyance of seeing people naked facing their way around in public while the city/state/nation is rising in COVID cases. I am glad to see that you have had some highlights though! This Death Road to Canada game sounds very intriguing! Hopefully your next week will be better and full of fun! <3

    1. Thank you Sam ❤️❤️ hopefully next week shall be a good one for you too!

Death road is really fun— despite having played 30times and not achieve it ONCE yet 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ all the different incomes & random encounters make it pretty funny and so replayeable.

  3. I’ve got Death Road to Canada on my app wish list, it looks great fun plus that title just begs you to download it!

    1. Yess!! I finally completed my first run after 36fails 😂 now there’s all thoses new modes I can try to complete.

Hoping you’d enjoy it as much as myself id you do download it!

  4. My husband, son and daughter all watch Anime. We have Crunchyroll and chatter at the table is often about new episodes. I do not understand people who refuse to wear masks or social distance, especially when you do it for others.

    1. Aww thats cute 🥰
Iknow.. it’s like it’s not enough that I work minimum wage, some people don’t even bother wanting to respect my health and protect us 😐 ..
