Sunday’s Chat; New kitty, no more allergies & 10th milestone 🥰

Good morning everyone ✨

As you might’ve seen, I sorta stopped doing Sunday’s Chat anymore- partly because I had nothing to report, and partly because they weren’t being seen much anyway.. but today! I do have some exciting news!

First thing first, as you might’ve seen on my twitter, I got a new kitty!! We’ve been fostering cats from a local rescue at work – and as soon as i’ve seen this little one looking EXACTLY like the one we lost 7years ago… I kinda wanted him. I soon became the only one at work that could handle him; whenever he was in my arms or even near me he was so much more calmer – that kitty had adopted me!

Much to my surprise, I got my dad to accept to let me have him!! It was the most adorable thing.. He came to sit ON the contract I was signing for his adoption, and slept the whole way of my rest of shift in one of my weein’s blanket 🥰

Boi we were not ready for what a kitten is however.. though dad argued we got Grisette about that age, she was NOT as much of a troublemaker! Kafei definately thought he was our old kitty, as he kept wining at him wanting to play & give him a lick (which Majora was NOT having) and as for Sheik… she didn’t understand why that wierd ball was making a noise at her 😂 cue in her barking. Everybody settles in fine in bed though- all three of them picking a different spot around me.

 

Grisette in the top picture, Majora on the bottom; except for the clear difference that he’s a little boy, the “eye patch” is on the other side (though his doesn’t go all the way to the bottom), and he is missin two black spots (top of the nose & under the chin)

 

I also got the appointment with my doctor to ask him for my restless legs medication, along with telling him my allergies has been more than worst- that I couldn’t function without taking some Advil cold & sinus pill.. so I wanted something safer to take long term 😅

While the one for my legs clearly isn’t working, the one for allergies is bomb!! I get less peaks, except the day we wenr for Wienerpawlooza.. but that’s another story as we had been outside in the warmth for the whole day. I also have so much more energy!! It’s insane!! Clearly a big difference there.

 

Finally, I got a new milestone of my 10th blood donation 🥰 As i’m a woman, it will take me so much more time to get to dad’s record, as instead of 2month in-between it’s 3months for us, but that’s a good start!
