Sunday’s Chat — Where’s my lockdown?!

Hello, Hello!

Here we are for some weekly chat — probably not the longest, as the year just started 😅  But I do have some things i’d love to share with you xx

As we can all have predicted it, people didn’t followed the rules for the holiday — which brought a massive outbreak throughout the whole province.. and we are all back to phase 2 again. We are rather small with 721k people in this province; and as of Jan 7th, we got the highest active cases since it all started, sitting at 130 (which is guaranteed to keep going up, too) having already a school & two senior homes affected.

I get that you don’t want people to lose their business & money-wise you don’t wanna close everything again and blabla.. but omg that’s insane!! Ofcourse despite being in a phase that make it mandatory to wear a mask in public zones inside AND outside, the amount of people I see in my drive thru not wearing their mask.. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Despite that we have a rather big sign “Mask mandatory” right in front of them.

Edit; We even broke the record of the record of our highest on Jan 9th; which now has 171 active cases… and still no lockdown (they say “we might not hit it”, as they closed the province’s border but.. that’s BS to me 😒)

 

 

But anyway! Drifting on other news.. ;

★ I finished my first book of 2021!! 💫  It was one from my personal shelf this time, that I had started in 2020 and just.. wreck me. So good! “What I like About You“. 

Next, I picked my first erotic romance ever “First In” — and omg it is off to a good start!! It is a firefighter/volunteer firefighter romance, being told in dual POV. While he’s a tad cocky and VERY attractive, she’s tiny & fierce; I love their dynamic so much so far 👏🏼 And of course the random bits of swear frenchs if as good as predicted, she’s on my team of nothing being more satisfiyng than a good string of french swear 😉

 

★ I officially finished the Age of Calamity story line.. which brought quite an impressive amount of fights & unlockable things on my map! ..But despite the playability of it still, i’m still hooked to the new content of Stardew Valley 😅 Can’t wait for the update to reach the switch too!

 

★ After Sheik’s dental in November, which we talked about on another Sunday’s post, It was said that she would need to get another bloodwork taken in January to see if the anormal enzyme they got that time went back to normal — which was the cause to some nightly panic attack, as she was the one to get very sick when she was only two years old, so it’s a big touchy when it’s her going to the vet (imean.. her brother still stress me out, but very less as he never gotten sick before)

To my delight, it took only about 5mins to have my weein back, though we had to wait to the day after to know the result.. but all came back normal!! Despite knowing it must’ve had been, as she’s very far from being sick, it was still a relief to have it confirmed.

 

★ Bookmail!! I had received two of the three I had ordered online, shown in my Christmas/Bday bookhaul.
