Switching to Storygraph; let’s take a look to my stats!

Good morning!

I finally decided to take the plundge and ditch Goodreads for Storygraph.. ofcourse on the day that they finally decide to fix the “log via facebook”, awh well 😅 Come join me over there @booksanddachsunds!

From now on, i’ll no longer use my goodreads account, and all of my reviews will be published over there — This app will also allow us to look at my monthly stats!! Which do indeed looks pretty cool; I’ve always loved looking at them, but not so much for making them ahah..

As I’m helping and entering data into the website, this *may* change a bit later? But here’s what we have for the moment, with my goodreads data from 2018 (?)

Book genres;

No surprise there, as I mainly always state that my fave genres are Contemporaries (YA), Romance & thrillers.

Most mood read;

I’m honestly slightly surprised my most read is lighthearted! I tend to like much deeper feels books (the problem with reading lots of heavy topics)

Book Pacing;

Nothing to say here, looks pretty decent.. considering that I think of myself as a slower reader, leaning toward medium-paced books makes sense.

Page numbers;

Now this !!! Proof where I say bigger books scares me.. 🤣 Considering I’ve had years of trouble concentrating on reading..

Fiction/Nonfiction?

Nonfiction is something that i’ve been looking to expending & read more of, part of my resolution of read more out of my comfort zone. I’m eager to see how this can change later on in the years!

Book ratings;

And lastly, as we all knew at this point, i’m a high star rater! Mainly because I know the type of books that I like to read by now, so I’m fairly sure of the books that I’m picking out.

Are you on Storygraph already? Let’s be friends!!

  1. I haven’t heard of storygraph before, but it sounds great. I recently start good reads but will have to look into this platform also. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Oh that’s odd!
      It has been floating around i wanna say since middle of last year .. and here I thought i was quite late to the party ahah 😝
      Happy to help you discover it! 🥰

  2. i love this post so much and THANK YOU for convincing me to give storygraph a try BECAUSE THOSE GRAPHS LOOK TOO GOOD TO JUST GIVE UP LIKE THAT, OK???

    1. RIGHT?!
      I love looking at them for curiosity- but no way i’m actually gonna build them 🤣 too much effort.
      The only thing that I miss is a quotes section though, but that might get updated if im lucky!

  3. I am on Storygraph too! Though I admit I have mostly been using Goodreads to track my reading progress and very rarely popping into Readerly, though it has a much more modern UI. Will be updating on Storygraph more often now, the UI is very clean.

    1. Yes I do love the presentation of it! I’m missing a quote section however.. and I was slightly lost the first few time on how to set up my virtual wanna read 🤣 I ended up taking the « to read » for those I owned and making those I have a look on as a tag
