1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
I don’t recall having a favorite one.. I’ve never really been a full on movie obsessed person.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
In Canada, we pretty much always have a white christmas! ❄️ There was a few times where we didn’t.. but honestly I don’t remember thoses xD I was too young, ahah!
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Nothing too fancy, me and my parents usually stay home. Or dad may get invited by his friend of work (which i’d avoid because YIKES- Only one my age, I dont know anybody, and they loud as hell 😂)
4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Not really a song in particular, but an old album specifically! Old french acadian music, “Les méchant maquereaux”.. One time this month mom brought me to work and we were just rocking on that and signing crazyly 🙈😂 Pretty much the only ones I enjoy, as Ive basically grown with that disc; year after year..
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Dad insist that we wait midnight on the 24th- so technically it does falls on the 25th.
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Eeeeeh, I need a minute.. maybe I could name like half-ish of them in french but certainly not in english!
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
We sadly don’t have any traditions, really, so nothing for me to look forward 😅
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake! As i’ve shown you in my past month’s Bujo post.
9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet?
I’m not sure if any of you ever tasted this before, but one thing that Acadian’s family do love to do for christmas (though not ONLY on christmas, can be enjoyed any time) is some crab’s dip. I’m not entirely sure what’s the recipe, as many people do it different; but you have some jell-o type thing inside, some celery, Philadelphia cheese, pieces of crab’s meat … and it tastes heavenly with crackers!! When mom do some lobster dip, it’s the best time of the year and we have leftover for a week if we’re lucky ahah!
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Giving is nice too when i’m proud of my presents, but.. as my birthday is two days after christmas I like to receive more #sorrynotsorry, as people tend to merge both together and give me something “bigger” 😅
11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
mmmh, I think I’d have to say it was my bestfriend’s christmas/birthday gift like, two or three years ago ? One of the things she gave me was a triforce necklace; Which was my FIRST legend of zelda merch of all time. I wore that necklace every. time. i left my house to give me the Courage, Power and Wisdom for like a year.. that was when I was still on track of my recovery; I got really attached to that necklace.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Hmmm.. honestly I have no idea. I’d like to experience one warm christmas for once in my life; thought it’d probably be wierd as hell xD Disney in holiday season would be neat too, i’ve seen some people’s picture and it looks pretty! (Though always is, ahah)
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
Average, i’d say.. my dad is the pro-wrapper! Always putting too many scotch tape on them… if you struggle to open it, you know my dad wrapped it! Ahah
14. Most memorable Holiday moment?
As I already talked to you about my Christmas at my grandma’s when I was younger, here’s another one; I had went with my bestfriend to her mother’s boyfriend’s house, and it was the first time we really drank. We had a blast ! Chillin’ in the basement playing darts (I had hit the center ONCE that night .. most of my shoots going either in the ceiling or in the rug on the floor 😂)
15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
… I really have no idea. Guess I never really believed in all that stuff?
16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Kind of- looks more like goals rather than resolutions now though. Yep! You’ll see in a future post how i’ve done with my 2018’s goals 😘
17. What makes the holidays special for you?
