The Dachshund Wears Prada ~ Stefanie London ☆ Arc Review

Hello everyone,

As I presented to you in one of my Book haul, I was super excited to be granted this one on Netgalley!! Ofcourse, i’m on the lookout for every book and everything that I can get with doxies in them.. 😅

Publication date has been May 3rd, 2022.

*While I did receive the book from the publisher, all thoughts are my own & genuine; it did not affect my review in any way*

Goodread’s page

I’m very pleased about Camilla’s role in the story, being ever-present; the dachshund traits has been well written. They also portrayed the phenomenon that this breed actually need a very specific personality & type of people.. They can be amazingly loving creatures in good hands, and can become snappy little devils in the wrong ones.

Our girl here sure has a personality, and I loved to read her reactions to things 🤣

Isla & her half-sister has such an amazing relationship; She’d do anything to give her younger sister what she deserves, and a chance to do what she truly loves (ballet) despite not being the richest. Seeing her comforting her sister after an abandonment scare was everything.. this is the kind of godmother i’d wanna be for my soon-to-be goddaughter; it was emotional and real.

I found Isla’s social media career to be really interesting – I feel like we don’t see that too often, and it made everything better as she gave Camilla’s personality an outlet with her insta account “The Dachshund wears prada”.

Theo is damaged & mysterious, everything that I enjoy in my book boyfriends! The way they seem to have a secret spell onto each other, making him open up to her despite knowing it’s a bad idea- both knowing they’re playing with fire but absolutely doesn’t wanna stop- the thirst between them is 🔥🔥.

He is everything that I’d want a guy to be; all the barriers he built go down in flames for her, being a gentleman and for an unknown reason, feeling protecting of her.

Their romance story gave me butterflies.. although I could almost smell a 3rd act breakup somewhere- because of course authors just has to when it’s that sweet & dreamy (almost makes me throw the book/my phone at the wall every. Time.)
