The spooky month over, now what?

Hello hello~

Technically speaking, November is still part of Autumn when we cut the year in the four season (Though weather-wise would be a different story 😅..). Are we on team “Spooky as much as we can” or “Holiday spirit all the way!” ?

Related; Holiday themed read, your opinion on them?

I’m particularly at lost right now, because I feel like updating my autumn TBR; but there’s a whole month left for me to finish it 🧐 As I’m still a book behind that I still need to get to.

I’m  not a holiday person, like at all, even if my birthday is mid-season. Holiday themed anything is always too early to my taste ahah; although mother usually like to have the tree up around her birthday on November 24th, and there’s a few holiday read books that I still have yet to try on my virtual wanna read.

However, I can’t say that I had the halloween spirit either this year.. I’m currently reading Ruth ware’s The turn of Key aswell as the netflix anime Demon Slayer that I have yet to finish. Otherwise we are back on the regular scheduled blogging slump, and whatever my brain can get as sudden ideas, I’m guessing 🥲

Do you jump straight into holiday season?
Do you hold onto Autumn/Halloween still for as long as you can?

  1. For me, Halloween isn’t really a big thing – we have a party sometimes but it’s more Diwali season for us now and it’s Diwali this week so I’m just busy and focussed on that! Then well, I usually shift into a colder, cozier vibe and more Christmassy feels>

    1. Ohh, happy diwali! ☺️ it sounds wonderful to experience.

Thats fair; Im sad I didnt felt it this year, usually halloween give me all the « PUMPKIN EVERYTHING » vibe with the desire to cook everything 🤭🤣 I can get behind cosy chilly weather, but im not into christmassy feels.

  2. For me, I’m not really in the Christmas spirit until December 1st 😂 Nothing really happens in the UK in November other than Bonfire Night (but I don’t really care about that) so I’m keeping Christmas as far away from me as possible until December.
