Top Ten Tuesday ~ Books that makes me think of rain

Helloo !

We are doing the April 2nd prompt today, April showers— Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with rain on the cover/in the title, that have rainstorms in the story, or that have anything to do with rain). So i’m going with books that makes me think of rain/rainy weather!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

My list is quite a mix bag- I’m gonna go with the books that gives me “rain weather” mood. It can either be because of the cover/title having something water-related, rain in the story itself, or even just because rain is linked to a specific sad read in my mind.

  1. No Judgement, Meg Cabot
  2. Weather girl, Rachel Lynn Solomon
  3. Swimming lessons, Lili Reinhart (swimming in the title)
  4. The Woman in Cabin 10, Ruth Ware (Boat setting)
  5. The thing about jellyfish, Ali Benjamin (Jellyfish in the title & cover)
  6. All the bright places, Jennifer Niven (sad MH story- does it rain in this one? )
  7. Starfish, Akemi Dawn Bowman (TBR– Jellyfish on the cover, Starfish on the title)
  8. Dancing at the pity party, Tyler feder (TBR– cloud & rain on the cover)
  9. This time it’s real, Ann Liang (TBR– cover picture couple under umbrella)
  10. The book of cold cases, Simone St-James (TBR- grim subject, appear to be raining in background of cover)
