Updated Dancebit Journey; March 2025

Good morning everyone!

Wierdly enough for a book blogger, my most viewed post isn’t anything book related, but is in fact this Dancebit review that I posted back in July 2024. I got SO many clicks from google search and constant views on it that I decided to post an update!

I really didn’t think this post was gonna gain so much traction! 🙈 I originally made it to share my thoughts because I had just found it and hey, it’s my blog so I can post whatever I want. The views absolutely blew my mind!


 

The good news, obviously, has been that I had been working out with this app since July 2024- so a whole 8 months! I aim for 3 to 4 workouts per week of 20mins each, so about 1hr-1h20 per week, sometimes I can slip a 5th one if i’m motivated (also read; isn’t working 6days a week)


Jan 2025 > Feb 2025 

 

While I had actually taken some weight and is heavier than when I first started, I did notice positive change like being more flexible (I used to struggle hopping on the counter at work, not anymore!) and my back buns has shrinked in size.

Now, I didn’t thought of taking before & after pictures; as my goal had never really been about losing weight. For me, all I had wanted was to find a way for me to exercice from my zero to something– something that I would enjoy and keep going without feeling obligated to. As said in the original post, I did try multiple other apps and just.. gave up the moment something occured.

    

Aug 2023 > Aug 2024 > February 2025 (though I’m clearly popping my hips in the 2nd one)

 

I can say that this definately works for me and i’m happy with the results! As I had never been ashamed of my weight, and it wasn’t my goal to shrink down in size to begin with (my only fat mainly sit at my hips/lower back, belly & arms- rest is my bone structure). My most used dances routines is either Slow Cardio, Latin or Fitness Dance. 

I still enjoy the dancing and had came back after 2weeks of rest due to a ankle injury; I also find it perfect to fit my 20mins dance routine before I start work for 1pm, so my energy is spent and I get to feel less combative/grumpy working in customer service afterward 😅 A good healthy stress relief that keeps me moving.
