Good morning!
I finally got my hold on this book from the library 🥰 the first book was a definite favorite, so I was excited to see what Vera was up to this time!

I can never get enough of Vera and her beloved “friend” Winifred that she love to hate on 😆 I absolutely love how her chapters are written true-to-reality; just reading I can hear my indian coworkers that speaks exactly like that!
I also really love how the friends we met in book 1 stays in book 2 🥰 I can see many more books with many more friends!
In this one we see our favorite chinese mother get scammed & enter the world of influencers. I would love to see her tiktoks, sounds very soothing indeed!
As per her usual self, Vera is hilarious; telling herself things like “your ass is bad. Really bad. And that’s a good thing!” 😆 because someone told her she was badass, as ofcourse everyone on the internet was loving her and wanted to be adopted!

Yes! I was afraid maybe, you know sometimes the follow up arent as great. Def not the case with vera!

I still haven’t read the Vera Wong books but my colleague mentioned that she was reading this the other day and seeing how much fun she’s having (and reading your review) has made me think I need to bump this up my TBR!
