We all fall down ~ Nathalie D Richards ☆ Review

Heyoo,

Coming with yet another Thriller review; which ironically, wasn’t on my spring tbr that I recently posted 😅 After finishing One By One, I had no idea what I wanted to read, nor which mood I was into, and just browsed my libby app for two days.

**might contain spoilers**

Goodread page
5 / 5 stars

Trigger warning; ADHD, ODD, Suicide, Blood & anxiety.

Upon looking at it’s tags on goodread, I had no idea that a romance thriller was a thing.. but the synopsis interrested me and it got me hooked ever since I first started to read the preview — which lead me to prompty loan it from Libby.

It got me in a sort of transe every time that i was reading it, unable to stop myself from reading.. chugging multiple chapters at a time; flying through it at an incredible speed that is pretty rare for me. I love how the author’s implanted this paranormal feel to the story, as of which was easy enough for me to understand & wasn’t bothered by it, which is always one of my concerns as iknow the fantasy-type things like that is harder on my brain and I mostly get lost while reading, but it wasn’t the case for this one.

Paige’s anxiety & panic attacks were really well written – and I absolutely loved how “messy” their relationship was; two broken teenagers in love, somehow Theo being exactly what she needed at times to better fight her anxiety.

The romantic in me really wanted this to end on a happy note, love conquers all evil. Even more in this particular case where they both suffer from specific mental illnesses, and somehow complete each other.

« We are messed up, but maybe it’s all right this way. Maybe messed up is the only thing that fits..» –Paige

All through the novel, we see how damaged Theo is, and all the possibilities that could result in the bridge haunting them — but I wasn’t ready for that ending. It revealed to be something else entirely; which make total sense now that I recall it.
