X Files Book Tag 👽

Heey, time for a tag again !!

Okay- i’m actually cheating a bit as i’m actually not listening to the “X Files” at all *aherm*  But I saw this nice tag over at Emmie @ Tea with mermaid‘s blog and I liked it, so i’m just gonna roll with it and do it anyway 😂

don’t judge me..

Original creator of this tag is Mandy @ BookPrincessreviews – please go check both of their answers  !

The Rules

– Take out your fake FBI badge and answer the questions

– You can link back to Book Princess Reviews

– Keep the alien love alive possibly and tag any and all X-Files fans you know…or just other people – either or?

Fox Mulder – Fox is known to have some “out there” beliefs, so name a book that you believe in despite everyone/ratings/reviews tell you perhaps isn’t that great

In a dark dark wood, ruth ware. I do not care how much reviews usually say Nora is unlikable, story not horror… I liked it x) I was blown by the ending, I loved the french translation’s and I liked Nora as a character. Also that setting … man the glass house in the woods is my favorite now.

Dana Scully – Just like the resident FBI skeptic, name a book that you’re skeptical of (because of hype, sketchy cover, etc.)

There’s alot of them, actually .. quite recently though, Emergency Contact by Mary H.K Choi. I saw alot of good reviews/hype for it; thinking it will have text messages setting, and know I LOVE that, I was quite excited to give it a read… until I read a not so great review; and im not so sure anymore xd

I want to believe – What book do you believe, just like the  famous tagline, will be your next 5 star/crown read off of your TBR?

Mmmh- let me see .. from what I have on my actual shelf (that I bought quite recently too) I’d say A totally awkwarlove story by Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivison. The cover is so pretty, and just ..screams my name ! ahah

Aliens – Name a book that on your TBR that is from a genre that seems out from another book world to you but still sounds super good

Mmmmh, I don’t usually branch out of my preffered genres… but im gonna say The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Says to be an historical fiction, which I don’t read historical anything xD and tried to read it once and it flopped as I wasn’t able to get into it and was just lost. I’ll try again, though!

The lone Gunmen – Name a book that comes along with an epic team just like these three hacking men

radio Silence, Alice Oseman? Idk, France and Aled being kind of internet famous make them looks appealing to me, with us being bloggers… yes ? no? Idontevenknow.. next question

Walter Skinner – Skinner is the boss that forever teeters on the edge of good and evil, so name a conflicting character for you (whether the character is just conflicted or you’re conflicted about your feelings for them)

First that comes to mind right now in Finch from All our bright place ..

The Cigarette Smoking Man – Name the worst book villain you can think of just like this smoking fiend who refuses to stay dead

eeeh… I don’t really, read anything with Villain 😖 So I cannot answer this one, hah.

Just like I did, feel free to snag this tag ! I tag everyone that wanna do it !😄

(welp.. last three questions didn’t went as smooth as expected, ahah hopefully you liked this tag nonetheless !)

  1. Lovely answers! I’m sorry that not-so-good review for Emergency Contact is making you doubtful about it, but KRISTINA PLEASE READ IT I LOVED IT SO MUCH. Sorry haha, I just really loved it and want everyone to love it haha. I hope you’ll still give it a try 🙂

  2. Ooooh, thanks so much for doing the tag!! Loved the alien emoji. And oh no about Emergency Contact! I am forever being pushed off a book because of the one bad review I read – even if it has a lot of good ones. Bad reviews really do make us double think everything. Hopefully you do enjoy it if you pick it up. Wonderful answers, and thanks for doing the tag! 🙂

    1. it was a nice tag ! xx

I usually don’t mind bad reviews too much.. and I know usually more “hated” books end up being the total opposite for me, but this one … I don’t know …

  3. The more hyped something is, the more likely it is to disappoint in my world. Unfortunately, I am perfectly capable of hyping things up all by myself. My brain never learns.
