2025 results | Have I read the books that I bought?
Good morning!
It is time to check onto how much I read what I bought in 2025! Now iknow it’s pretty early in the month, but knowing I get my annual bookstore vauchers for my bday barely at the end of december on the 27th.. I always prefer to team it on the next year as iknow there’s no way i’ll read a book in 3 days anyway 😅
Also; my 50th book is quite on the chunky side, being 464 pages.. i’m confident it’ll take me a few weeks to finish, so I don’t think i’ll have time to grab something else before the year ends.

In great total, I have read 27 books out of the grand total of 31; leaving only 4 books unread of those bought in 2025. I had also read some of my oldest books standing on my shelves, leaving them at a total of 6 books remaining to read in 2026!

That is wonderful you have read most of the books you bought this year! I have been making more of an effort to read the books that have been sitting on my shelves, and I have made good progress, though I do not know the exact number.
That’s good! I remember my first year when I signed into beat the backlist I went “ah I mainly read them anyway, it’ll be easy!” …. and me doing not it at all 🤣
I most definitely have not read most of what I’ve bought this year, but that’s what happens when you’re me and so easily indulge in treating myself to books! Haha 🫣😂 I’m super impressed that you read so many of the ones you bought—that’s so amazing and definite goals! I hope you enjoy the ones you still have left to get to.
