2025 Storygraph reading stats

Helloo

Time to look at some Storygraph stats! πŸ‘€ I ended up being able to smootch another book on the 31st, so I ended up with 51 books out of 50!

Let’s start with my moods stats; honestly i’m not surprised, emotional was my biggest last year too πŸ˜‚ my average time to finish was 8 in 2024, so we’re slowly getting better!

What can I say.. I’m really scared of chunky books πŸ˜‚, kinda surprised however that I gravitate more between 3 & 500 pages; but then again, i’m not one for smaller books either.. I like good mediums.

Again, leaning more into nonfiction being a new favorite- we stood at 20% in 2024; we’re now at almost a quarter of my reads being NF!

Cutting a little bit- there’s education & nature standing at 1 aswell. In 2024, YA was in my top genre followed by horror- how the tables had turned! Still one of my go-to, but we’re doing a little different genres this year.

less audio and more print this year- again, I would’ve gotten more audio if my libby loans would’ve had arrived in time but alas.. that’s atleast 2 for 2026!

Last year was David Turcotte-Lafond (3-Youtumeurs serie I finished) & Rachel lynn solomon (2); so we’re going completely different!

Yes, i’m aware I made a mistake filling a new book details and I’m now stuck with “english,” being separate but whatever.. in 2024 we got 27 for english & 14 for french. The percentages are almost the same, we got 65.9% Eng & 34.1% Fr in 2024.

Again, very close- what do you want, my readings are steady through the years.. my average in 2024 has been 4.44 stars

  1. I love seeing other’s reading stats, so thank you for sharing yours! That is amazing you read 51 books in 2025, and it was interesting to see what genres and authors you read most. My average star rating ended up being 3.9 stars.

    1. Yes thank you! Though I branched off to genres I didn’t use to read, I do have a good smell for books i’d like ☺️ which is always great! I had only one DNF last year
