5 Things that i’m thankful for in 2020

Hello everyone 💕

Today is our Thanksgiving in Canada, so I thought i’d share with everyone what i’m thankful for today. 2020 has been a year.. pretty much all of us is eagerly waiting for it to be over already – but there was still some good things among the bad of this world.

* This list isn’t in any particular order

❤︎ Finally getting my liscence
Covid delayed things a bit.. but alas, I finally passed the written & driving test and gotten that beginner’s permit! Now I just need to drive and wait a year for my full one – so Covid can no longer affect that.

That had been a pull on my anxiety, but i’m glad I finally got the balls to have made it.. and i’m so baffled of how calm I am behind the wheel too, past me would never had thought that possible! [Related post, Driving & Anxiety]

❤︎ Mother’s kidney donor and their family
As with every additional year that pass with my mother with us, I can’t not be grateful for them. Of course with the meds messing with her immunity & body, there’s little hiccups here and there (and additional anxieties upon getting the covid, which could basically kill her) [Related post, Celebrating 5 years 💚 / The power of Love]

❤︎ Books & Video games
I’ve always loved to immerse myself in other worlds, either be in books or gaming, and it’s a distraction I specially needed this year. Although it’s far easier for me to play videogames than reading when something is bothering with my mind and anxiety ..

❤︎ My dogs
As ever since I’ve gotten them both, I already fear the day they’ll pass to the other side. I can’t believe my babies are already going on 7 & 6 years old.. i’m glad i’ve choosen a breed that the longevity is ~20years old 😅 [Related post, My dachshunds saved my life]

❤︎ Our community!
Talking with fellow bloggers on twitter/discord and interacting on blog posts has been some of the only social interactions that i’ve had in the lockdown.. sure, there’s my parents and our customers at work – but you know, that’s not the same. I was feeling so lonely and needed that “human interaction” with people around my age, liking the same things and all that.

What are you thankful for, in 2020?
