All Hallows Book tag !

All Hallows Book tag !

Good morning everyone!

I have another Halloween book tag for you ~ Found on my friend Caro @ BookCheshirecat, tag created by QuirinusReads on Instagram! Let’s go!

Related; Would you rather book tag; Halloween 2025

Spooky This or That;

Like Caro, I’m also including the empty one so you can partake too!
* I would’ve usually picked “PSL”, but I actually stopped drinking espresso, prefering chai or brewed whites instead 😅 (Mix of regular med roast coffee with steamed milk & flavoring).

What’s your favorite spooky season genres ?

While i’ve always been a fan of Thrillers and mysteries, I’ve been feeling the mood to read them particularly in this season! Aswell as some Horrors & Nonfictions (NF perfect for spooky seasons).

Which titles would you recommend  for halloween reading ?

I already done a post for Nonfictions, as you can see above. I’ll add Kill creatures by Rory Power, This Wretched Valley by Jenny Kiefer & Under the surface by Diana Urban.

What are your most anticipated reads this month?

Actually, I had just received the one book I had been anticipating, Destination Extrème: Amytiville. A French book where our MCs take on a vacation to the amitiville house- one MC being deeply scared of the devil, and her friend bringing her there to make her see how stupid her fear was… not thinking something would actually go down.

Have you had any paranormal experiences or spooky coincidences?

I do, actually!  I share a birthday with my dad’s sister who passed many years before my birth; To my dad’s accounts, I used to be super sick as my mother with my kidneys when I was born. My dad was sleeping in the pink room at my grandma’s house, and he woke up to see her in the door frame. He asked her to look after me and from then on I went perfectly healthy and to this day rarely gets sick. Never broken a bone either, if you know the theory, apart from my little toe as my cousin pulled me into a door frame.

What are your Spooky season film and TV favorites?

Ofcourse horror movies are a must! Though i’d admit I haven’t rewatched them this year yet, but here’s what i’d pick; The conguring movie series, The corpse bride & The haunting of hill house.

How do you celebrate Halloween?

Unfortunately, it’s a regular working day for me, although i’ll definately dress up! I still haven’t worked out my costume yet of this year however.. While I would love attending a dance or event, I just wouldn’t wanna go there alone, for security purposes and it can get really costy! (entry cost)

  1. It was fun reading your answers! I am a big fan of mysteries and thrillers year round, but they are just a bit better to read during spooky season. Also, that was interesting to read about your dad’s paranormal experience and how it affected you! It does seem like your aunt is watching over you.
