April ‘24 Wrap up ; A month of birthdays 🦋
Yet another month passed us by; Time to look back on what a month we had. I can’t wait for warmer days, finally! this month has been a mix-up of cold and warm weather, leaving me with yet again another sinusitis 😅
April’s feels;
This month we got two important birthdays; starting with Majora finally being an adult! He hit 3 years old, so he should calm down any days now.. I’ve got him toys that looks like straws that he adores, aswell as a tunnel-like hut that twins as a scratcher. Thanksfully he do seems to enjoy this way better than the darn kitchen chairs, that he had left behind (hopefully forever, we also changed the seat covers, incase he just had liked that particular material).
We also had Kafei’s yearly vet appointment, to check his overall health- very important for his spine as he’s a dachshunds, and we know how IVDD is quick to happen, but also to be up to date with his vaccines (we do Lyme & Leptospirosis as we’re close to the woods, aswell as rabies that’s madatory). As his penis has also been bothering him, we choosed to check it at the same time. While the blood test was ruled out perfect but some slightly high numbers (nothing stress or dehydratation can explain), the urine sample said that he has crystals forming in his urine as his PH is too high. We’ll have him start on special Urinary food aswell as daily urinary helping treats (same as his sister’s allergy aid- so they each have their kind), hoping that’ll help him!
The second important birthday has ofcourse been the 10 years celebration of my mother kidney transplant! I’ve posted my yearly post on insta that you can read here.
What I read this month;
I finished 5 books this month & finished all of the books on my Spring TBR! If I never met you was my first DNF of the year; it start was just way too slow and I was uninterrested about the separation background part. I did gave it to a workfriend who thought it looked good, however!

April’s Highlights;
♥︎ Last but not least, Next month we have Sheik’s birthday! She’ll be 10 years old already 😭
♥︎ Other than Top ten tuesdays, Randomized my TBR & Let’s talk bookish, I’ve posted; Dealing with memory loss, How did you start annoting your books?, Topic obsession; Paris Catacombs & How it feels to grow up alone.
♥︎ Gaming wise, i’ve been absolutely hooked replaying Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I’ve reached Wallace gym and decided to go back to my switch & TOTK about mid-month.
♥︎ For the first time this year, we roadtripped to see my bestfriend & her baby 🥰 She’s 2yrs and a half now- she’s so intelligent and talkative! From this point on, i’m loving this; idk what to do with a too young baby.
