Are you a snack or a meal house?

Hey!

Moving along from books today- did you know some of us have grown in a snack house (ready to go prepackaged snacks in the house) VS meal house (separate ingredients that you need to combine before eating)


 

Personally, I’m from a snack house 😅 my go-to being Mr. noodles “ramens”, poptarts & granola bars. I’m a night owl, so you see it is much easier for me to grab one of these either in the middle of the night as i’m starved before bed- or when I wakeup to feed the weeins, i’ll much on a granola bar waiting for them to finish & go back to bed.

Besides being handy, we know they aren’t that healthy.. which can be a problem as they’re high in sugar and/or salt. Though if i’m being honest, I much rather eat my unhealthy snacks than not eating at all!

 

Still, at times i’m feeling guilty.. though I never paid much attention to my body image, I am on the heavier side. While I do like nuts, with added flavors or not, it feels troublesome at times- i need to get the bag, or dump it in a container.. defying the purpose of “no time spent”, I just wanna take it and go! 🙈 Ive also found little pouches of yoggurt balls, while high in iron, it’s also 11% sugar & fatty acids, definately can be better.
