My review;

3 / 5 stars = Started really great ! However I got lost somewhere in the first 40% and it left me pretty neutral. However it was a good read.

** edit; 4/5 stars = that ending was everything.

✘ it reads very easily, I was grasped right from the beggining and thrown into Grace’s shoes and emotions. Once I’m started, it’s hard to get myself to stop; however needed as I read before bed.

✘ I adore how the author communique our MC’s thought with us, and isn’t something I saw done like this before.

✘ ohhh an anxiety rep!

✘ Although I love smaller chapters, this book was a longer read for me that what I would’ve had thought. Maybe a tad bit more longer chapters would’ve helped.

The book started really well for me; projecting me straight into Grace’s emotions and shoes. I loved the fact our main character spoke to her sister in her thoughts and how she’s having anxiety. However, the plot was a bit too complicated for me to really grasped onto – maybe due to the fact Dutch english differ quite a bit of Canadian english and i’m not quite used to read in that language yet.

Was a good book nonetheless, I liked the read but nothing really stood out for me personally.

Edit; I finally finished this book on the 10th, which is 4days late of when my blog tour was planned to. This ending !! It wasn’t anything i’ve had even considered, and after all the bad was gone, happened to be the sweetest thing.. to turn again! It’s true I got lost in the middle, but i am happy I went and finished it (even if late) – as it turns out that book was really good.

      1. Hey it is all fine… You are honest and you wrote what you felt… That’s really cool. I don’t like a lot of books that others like. So I really appreciate you taking the time to read this book. 😘😘♥️♥️

  1. Hi Kristina
    Sorry I didn’t post here earlier, I tend to Internet on the phone and couldn’t find the comments but now that others have commented I could. When I saw that you were reviewing I was hopeful because Grace has anxiety, and so much of what happens is because she’s driven by a need to control it. But there was no reason to feel guilty when you have your first rating! All honest reviews are valuable! I’m pleased you soldiered on, though, because I was sad you’d missed some twists. Thanks for issuing a revision – brave thing to do – and glad you liked it.

    1. I know, I just felt like it wasn’t fair to you as per the blog tour; though it’s my duty to remain honest and not everyone will like it the same.
      I nonetheless wanted to finish it, and I was pleasantly surprised !! as the review was made before ive finished, it only felt right to add the edited version; so readers can get the real thoughts in the end 🙂
