Blogging with Anxiety; Have I posted this before?

Blogging with Anxiety; Have I posted this before?

Good morning!

I know I briefly talked about this on my first one “Post paranoia”, but it’s actually quite a big part of making posts, so i’m actually gonna make it’s own post on it!

My other “Blogging with Anxiety” posts; Feeling we’re not enough // Content Wise // Stats // Posts Paranoïa

That’s something I know I should calm down a bit on.. Because logically, even if the readers do notice that I’ve talked about that specific thing before — i’m the only one who really cares about it..

I’ve been blogging on here for 2years; so it could be that either it has been SO long that i’ve talked about it that I have newer things to say, or even that the first one wasn’t properly expressing my thoughts maybe.. and that’s not to say that the newer people wouldn’t had necessarely read that particular one, specially if it’s from it’s debut.

And yet every time that I get an idea of a new post, I absolutely need to go search my blog to see if I had said ANYTHING upon that topic before. Why do I even do that ??! Okay, it *can* be useful to link it to the post “related to”.. but other than causing me excessive extra anxiety about my blogging, it’s not really doing anything 😂

So today I wanna know; Can you tell if a blogger had talked about a specific thing before? If it ever happened.. did you cared?

  1. You read my mind because I just posted about reading with anxiety 😂 but honestly I don’t care if a blogger has talked about a topic before, there’s always a new angle to explore!

    1. Ahaha oh wow what a timing 😂 I need to go check that!
Thank you! While logic *do* kinda know it, I feel like I need to hear other persons say it to let it go of that in a way..

  2. What an interesting thought! It honestly wouldn’t matter to me if a blogger already had written about a topic. I think we are always learning and growing and changing, so maybe our thoughts and feelings change too. Love this post

    1. Thank you!
That’s also a good point, weather it’s been months or years since.. there’s always a change we changed our minds or got into it deeper than original.

  3. Well, really, everyone does the T10T posts every week and they’re still the most popular posts. I think if someone discussed something similar, it wouldn’t be exactly the same, because if enough time has passed, they’ll have a different perspective on it.

    1. I feel like that’s somehow different though.. like memes like that has different prompts and stuff while remaining the same « base », rather than just going over a topic you might have already covered 🤔

Yeah! Normally you wouldn’t go over it again within a month, more like a few months where time has passed and you dont really remember what youve said xd

  4. I always end up searching my blog three times before I write a post just in case I’ve already done it! I’m glad I’m not the only one!

    1. Yep 🤣
Most times I have a vague rememberance… but i’m not 100% sure.. so I need to go back and check- most times I got something similar, or like- way WAY older.
