Bujo post & news; June and July ☀️

Good morning,

So- this was actually supposed to go up last thursday, but by the time I realized I messed up, I had already written my first impression post, and I kinda wanted to share it still 😅 Somehow I thought June had 31 days & I was gonna post on the 30th?! I don’t even know … anyway! So here we are for my wrap up!

June’s overall feeling

This month was pretty average.. though I couldn’t really wrap my head over how quick it actually went! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I mainly went to work, and chilled with my friend aswell as help him move for the end of the month — as of which i’m really bad at parking *aherm*, and so I ended up having my SUV stuck in the ditch trying to back up 🤣 don’t worry, i’m fine aswell as the car.. but man that was an experience. I got lucky to have a towing truck pass right by and got me out of there for free!

Other than that, I seemed to get “out” of everything.. got a blogging slump, stopped watching anime except for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood that we are watching with said friend, and only really watch recent videos of True Crime instead of maniacally devouring older videos.

June’s events

♥︎ I only finished 2 books this month; First we make the beast beautiful” from the library, & the first one from my Summer TBR (and my shelf), ” des dick pics sous les étoiles” — wrote about the second here, about local authors but haven’t done a review. Currently reading Our year of Maybe, which i’ve been really hyped about & wanting to read for so long because of the kidney donation rep!! Which I did a First Impression Monday for it.

Rounding my reading up to 14 books read out of my goal of 20; 12 counting for #BeatTheBacklist & 1 for my audiobook challenge.

♥︎ Only one Sunday’s Chat has been done this month; Beach weather, blogging block & farming extravaganza”. I’ve also wrote more about my mental health; But- you don’t look anxious/depressed” and Managing my anxiety/depression; ignoring”.

Because of said blogging slump, only one post has been skipped this month. Talking about which, i’ve also written about blogging block struggles this month aswell.

♥︎ Lastly, as I’ve been for my first covid shot on June 1st – I’m now eligeable for my second shot and be fully vaccinated!! 👏🏼 I was the last one of my family to have it done, both my parents having theirs fully active now; Father had nothing for his first shot (astra zeneca) & muscle pain for his 2nd (Moderna), while mother got both pfizer shots and the first made her sleepy while the second did absolutely nothing.

July’s pages

Nothing really on the look-up for July.. except maybe having a deserving little break from work; supposed to work 4days a week instead of 5 (unless asked otherwise, i’d take the extras as I can afford to 😅) but as of what i’d actually do with them — still no idea as of yet.

I went for something a little bit more “basic” and less elaborated for July; with purple & silver pens. The quotes I end up picking was this one shortened a little: « Life doesn’t end at 25, 27 or 30, 35 or 45, it doesn’t matter how old you are when you decide to get your high school degree or start a family. It doesn’t matter when you decide to go run a marathon or travel the world. Life is not made up by numbers, age is, and your age is not all that you are.you got time. Life doesn’t end until it ends. »

  1. This month seemed to end too quickly for me too. So glad to hear you are getting your second shot soon <3 Our country ran out of vaccines and people under 30 still haven't been approved due to the short supply, so I don't know when I will get my shot. Thankfully both of my parents got their two doses already so there's a relief.
I hope July brings you a very product month for you and a month full of happy memories.

    1. Ohno! That’s horrible 😧 but yes, glad to hear your parents are fully vaxxed, atleast ❤️
Aww thank you very much xx I hope July is good to you & bring So many happy memories aswell 🥰

  2. I am really bad at parking. I can’t even comprehend the concept of parallel parking. That would really be my nightmare to get stuck in a ditch but that’s unlikely where I live. You were so lucky!
I love your quote. It’s very relevant to me but my brain still says no. I want to have a family and time is not on my side. 😅
My June was better than usual. Did some fun activities with the family. July hopefully I’ll get good news for something job related but it’s been draggin on for four months so I won’t hold my breath.

    1. I still didn’t parallel park since I passed my test 😂 but i’m always more on one side or the other.. or worst, the line right in the middle of the car! Ahaha

That’s good to hear! Hopefully no news means good news in this case xx
