Bujo post & news ~ April/May

Time to say goodbye to April!

I personally can’t wait to get to more spring-y weather.. we had a few days a snow & cold, still in the middle of april 😐  Let’s see what happened this month & a peak at my new monthly pages!

April’s overall feeling;

I can’t say I remember much of this month, seems to have gone in a blur as it went so fast! I took a break of watching anime, or anything for that matter, and went on a Jesse McCartney mania 😅  Not only was I going through old songs in live, but also discovered a new one from not long ago and had it on repeat.

I’ve also gotten back to replaying Breath of The wild aswell as sims 4, as it’s been mainly what i’ve been doing as soon as I finish work.

April’s events;

♥ I’ve finished three books this month- all from my shelf & on my Spring tbr“Gardez l’oeil ouvert, tome 2” (x),“The upside of falling” Almost Adults.

I’ve now read 10 books out of my goal of 20; 8 books competing for #BeatTheBacklist, and 1 for my audiobook challenge.

♥ Yet again, only one Sunday’s Chat has been published this month, “Doing things amist of working & covid scare”. I’ve also opened up about “forgotten impacts of anxiety & depression”, aswell as sharing a Blogging faux pas- stealing pictures.

♥ To celebrate mother’s 6th year since her kidney transplant, this year I decided to write some book synopsis involving organ donation. Sadly because we were supposed to be in self-isolation, we haven’t done anything special this time except eating cake.

♥ The covid scare ended up being a false alarm (which we knew), thank god ❤️ It was quite the experience: we got 5 different nurses saying all different things, Mother’s covid test got contaminated so she had to go a second time, we got told papers & tests got lost.. it was just an overall mess 🤦🏽‍♀️ I ended up only losing 3days of work, plus my two planned days off, as it seems everybody that had been in contact with the possibly infected area turned out to be negative.

May’s pages!

This month, I decided to do something different.. I’ve decided to imput more of a “scrapbook” feel to my bujo — which always look so good in other’s pages, but that I couldn’t get myself to do for whatever reason.. 😅 I also picked Green & Yellow colors for the month.

As you can see, it’s gonna be my youngest dachshund’s birthday on the 23rd- she’ll be 6years old! The quote also says «I heard a rumor that you’re loveable just the way you are. I also heard that you are enough & someone is really proud of you».

Again, drifting off of my usual doodle pages, I decided to only do circles for this month; as I had added stickers & the paper, I felt it was gonna look too much.

For my weeklies, I decided to alternate with two weeks having the floral stickers & two weeks having the paper. I think it looks pretty good that way!

How was your month, did anything good happened to you?
Which book(s) did you read?

    I hope you get some better spring weather soon! It’s actually been quite warm here, although a little rainy every now and then!

      Ahhh yiis! It’s been raining quite a while here too (though frankly better than snow- but i dont like either 😂 BUT iguess better to work inside in shit weather than sunny days). Recently most days are around 17-20degrees, with the colder nights & sometimes more lower degrees celcius.

      Thank you, May the next month be lovely to you too 💕

      Haha thank you! 🥰
      Yes, really! When she called me at work I was quite anxious and panicky as I didnt knew what was going on, if she was fine, etc.. then I was calm the whole while of the « mess » as we knew it was a false alert (but procedures are procedures.. even if prooven false) — so atleast that was good, otherwise it wouldve had been a loong 5days ..

    I’m glad the covid scare was a false alarm. It sounds like you had a packed month. April was quiet for us but flew by. Also looking forward to some sunnier weather
