Good morning!

It has been a while that I did a first impression, eh? Mostly because lately i’ve been obsessed over Stardew Valley and not playing much of anything else.. ahaha 😅 However, my friend Tecsie informed us in BooksAndTea discord’s “videogame chat” that this game was coming out, which is similar to another one that she recommended me, but as a bartender instead of a coffeeshop! Working as a real life barista.. I just HAD to get this 🙊☕️

To be honest, I’m still in the beggining of the game, as it’s a game that you can finish, I wanna take my sweet time to enjoy it as much as I can — although there’s a story AND continuous playing mode to it! There’s also quite the selection of languages you can play it in, which of course I choosed to play in french; so sorry about that in advance!

The graphics are so pleasing! and while it’s in a futuristic dimension where you can meet elfs, orcs, and many other type of creatures, it sometimes breaks the 4th wall and making it a bit funnier to have this world’s stuff as “fiction” and “unbelievable” in their time and space xd Some of their dialogs is also tinted with some life lessons or things you shall remember, and I really appreciate games like that.

As a Barista, there’s lots of drinks that I know beforehand – because well, I do them daily.. but there’s also some that I had never known of! You’d see some “coffee descriptions” during loading screens sometimes and that’s nice that I can learn even more stuff about coffee because of a game!

If you ever forget how to make a specific drink that got asked, you have a handy recipe thing on your phone in the bottom-left corner (aswell as a kind of facebook app that give people’s infos, a newspaper app, and a kind of spotify one), which can be handy when drinks becomes more complicated!

As for the drink’s making, the animation is kinda neat while staying simple (coffee+milk+milk per exemple for a latte) but you can also do LATTE ART!! That’s one of thoses little detail that got me really excited… but alas although I know the technique in real life, this is REALLY DIFFICULT xd so I barely bother with it ahah

This little game is quite fun, I like it ! Perfect for just getting your mind off things and play for hours; though I personally like longer games 😅 hence why I’m trying to take my time to have it longer, eheh.

Did you bought it yet; or are you considering it?
If you did bought it – what’s your thought on it?
