Favorite Book Couples I’ve read this year

Good morning!

I’ve surprisingly haven’t read that many romance books this year.. On the 20 that i’ve read so far, about only 8 of thoses has been love stories. I however have a few favorite pairings, in the meantime of reading more of them!

Becca & Bret; The upside of falling [GR; My review]
They won my absolute #1 of the year. Fake relationship turned real trope, paired with the most popular guy & the not-so-popular girl in the school. I liked Becca’s overall view, quite similar to the one I had, that romance is always better in books.. or else you get hurt- before she fell for Bret, that is.

Jasper & Madeline; Last chance books [GR; My review]
Rival turned lovers, but even better- both sides owning bookstores & being book people! Not quite owning the first place off however– the book sign war was quite funny to read. Got me swoon & heart ached; i’m also probably the only one who tear-up in an erotic scene.. 😬

Sophie & Nick; First in [GR; My review]
Another rival turned lovers. Two strong character firefighters that kept rilling each other up.. that also made the heat go up in flames 🔥🔥 Un-fighteable chemistery, love always winning in the end.. even with career-targetted people.

Kara & Ryan; Talk bookish to me [GR; My review]
Second chance romance AND enemy to lovers. I’ve been loving romance about books-in-books lately; Kara being a published romance author… finding her muse being her college ex-boyfriend! So incredibly drawn to each other still after all thoses years- with the highest chemistery between two people they’ve ever met; things don’t only get steamy in Kara’s books! 👀

What has been your favorite book pairing you’ve read lately?
Have you enjoyed some of thoses books?

  1. Hahaha tearing up during an erotic scene sounds too funny! For some reason, I couldn’t help imagine parents seeing their children do something they’re proud of (not speaking of sex though hahaha). 😛
