Next onto my Spooky reading list is a mystery thriller that i’ve long heard so many good things about!

A romance thriller writer getting overheard talking about her novel and got taken for a contract killer sounded so hilarious to me, and it’s insane the amount of luck and crazy things that happens to this woman 😳. I Couldn’t believe the amount of twists that the poor lady had going through – though it was a fun read, it wasn’t as “hilarious” as i’ve heard the book was from peer’s reviews.

Finlay had quite the “luck in her badluck” as we’d say here.. like what was the odd of something of the like happening, and so close to what they had done too?! Incredible.

 

Among everything, I loved Finn & Vero’s relationship! They started quite unusual, same as how she got to babysit for her, but she ended up so supportive of this single mother 🥰The lawyer and the cop was also really loveable, too bad it would’ve been an obvious bad choice with everything she had going on.

Steven on the other hand – I really despised Finlay’s ex-husband and the lady he cheated on her with. The mob gang & their wifes were also really well written, in my opinion everyone was credible as how they would act in real life.

 

I might change my mind later on, or if it becomes available through my libby app, but for now I don’t particularly feel the need to read the follow-up novel.

      It’s one of those suite where it’s on a different character- which I’m already not a fan of to begin with 😅 so meh- not particularly inclined to read it.
